Good looking but sound needs to improve

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wished to like this speaker but after a year owning it, I sold it and got a Harman Kardon Aura Studio. Purchase this Marshall Stanmore because I could not resist the cool looks but I did not expect the sound quality to be so mediocre. You can find better sounding Bluetooth speakers that cost much less. In my opinion, the sound tuning of Stanmore is very focused on rock and it only sounds good at around 40%-60% volume range. At lower volume level it muffles with loose bass, flat vocal and intrusive highs. It’s just not balanced well.

Great Bluetooth speaker

It’s a little expensive and not portable, but just what we wanted. We have a portable good speaker, but in the end the Marshall is hands down a better speaker system. If your looking for a excellent sounding Bluetooth speaker, it’s the one to buy.
