Bought this because I wanted something I could hook up to my record player with an RCA cable and also be able to play music from my phone wirelessly as I don’t have enough space for multiple speakers. It has great sound for both wired and wireless formats and fits in with my aesthetic! It does go into a sleep mode pretty quickly when not playing anything that you have to manually turn back on if you want to use it again which is kind of annoying but overall I would recommend this for anyone in need of a good speaker.

The speaker quality is very good. As expected from Marshall's product. Pairing with devices through the Marshall's app took some time, but once connected, it works very well. My biggest concern is about the size. Its a bit bulky. Other competitive products of the same config takes less footprint.

This thing bumps and produces quality sound. I got it as an open box just for minor scratches. I highly recommend this great speaker to bring with you on your travels or just listen in your home.

I recommend that you demo the Stanmore II (and Woburn II) in store if possible. I bought the Stanmore II online, and tried to convince myself I liked it...but I didn't. Maybe it's because I grew up in the 70's and 80's and am used to hearing floor speakers with 10"-15" woofers. Pros: -Does it's job of amplifying a sound. -Probably sounds relatively great to a younger generation that has grown up listening to music on phones and laptops. Cons: - The midrange is much too much here...Most of the songs the "voice" of the singer is very present...the music, guitar, etc is in the background. - The bass is not a good sound....it's sounds like it is in a box enclosure that is too small...because it is. - The treble is not good. I have a Sony boombox from 10 years ago that sounds much better. I returned it...and when I was in the Best Buy store, I listened to the Woburn II...and it is not any better (just louder). Do yourself a favor and get something that a has bigger woofer. Credit to Best Buy for the good price and for allowing me to return it without any hassles.
