Many appreciate its portability, although some note its weight. Positive feedback also highlights the speaker's volume, Bluetooth connectivity, and stylish design. Good deep warm sound that fills the room. The main purpose to buy this speaker is to have it outside by the pool and because of winter we wont be able to do that for several more months. Extremely portable and musicians will like the classic Marshall design. It's expensive, but if it does well outside it will be worth the price.

A bit on the expensive side, but is worth buying. The speaker sound incredible loud and good, with deep bass and clear highs and you can ajuste the sound manually

Have had the jbl xtreme and this far exceeded that speaker in many forms. The sound is amazing and the battery last a really long time listening to it In a moderate level.

Doesn't get a 5 because I felt the max output need to be just a little more loved the speaker thou wherever I went people asked me what was it the sound quality is Amazing on this got lots of compliments easy to handle not heavy. The quick charge is also a super boost but the battery lasts long for a day out at the beach so enjoy.

I have had many BT speakers and they all get used and abused. This Marshall is great. Full volume for 9 hours straight strapped into the passenger seat of the car next to me. Sounds great at the lowest of lows to highest of highs.
Great Job!!!

I was not looking for wi-fi connectivity but a speaker that would put out a great sound and was portable. I landed on this one. The list price was 399.00 and I bought it for 299.00. At that price I think it one of the best.A solid build and performer.

This speaker sounds really good. Battery lasts for a long time. Unfortunately it doesn’t pair with additional speakers. It only has one aux input. Works great as a stand alone speaker but that it all it does. For the money it seems it would have more options.

Really loud, great bass, mids could be better, highs are a little “hissy”. Very noticeable hissing sound when playing a quieter song which is distracting. Also the cabinet of mine rattled quite bit. Not anything around it, but the speaker housing itself.
Hello, sorry to hear about the hissing and rattling. Sounds like this speaker has had too much of a good time, please follow-up with [email protected] for assistance.

This Bluetooth sound is incredible.
It’s like having an AMP.
It hold its charge for a very long time.
I took it to the lake and had it playing for days!
Well worth the price.

I had high anticipation for this speaker but was very disappointed in it.
Pro’s:
Loud
Lots of bass
Quality build
Nice it and finish
Con’s:
Treble often sounded like it was in a box most (but not all) of the time. Basically it sounded like the DSP chip had been programmed to use too much reverb. Some times it was hard to understand what they were saying. Sometimes no matter what I did I could not get the musicians voice to come forward. I think the tweeter should have been 1” instead of .63”, I just think it was too small. If it were larger I think it would have sounded much better.
The Mid’s were very difficult to dial in, sometimes I could get them but other times is was lots of bass and some treble.
I had owned other Marshall speakers over the years and was well versed in adjusting the bass and treble to dial in the sound you wanted but I just could not get it right on this particular speaker.
I returned it.

This thing is huge, both in size and the sound it puts out. The Tufton is no light weight portable speaker, this thing is massive and designed to sit in one spot rather than carry around. And the sound is incredible, the range is great, it's very loud, and doesn't distort at high volumes. I was really impressed with this speaker and think it will be great for listening to music on the back porch.
Design: This thing looks like a little Marshall combo amp, though a bit more vertical than square. It looks great and has great built quality. It feels dense and solid and we'll put together. The strap is a nice fabric, and all the knobs feel sturdy and we'll made. This is definitely a Bluetooth speaker I wouldn't mind leaving out and to be honest I think it can add character to a room, which isn't common among Bluetooth speaker that usually stick out like a sore thumb.
What's in the box: You get the speaker, a US a cable and a UK power cable (which I thought was an odd addition) and that's it, this is a no fuss unboxing.
Battery: this speaker boats 20 hours of playback and I think it gets pretty close to that. Definitely one of the longest lasting speakers I've had.
Weather proofing: since this is designed to be used outdoors, it's worth talking about the weather proofing. The Tufton is IPX2 Rated. Meaning it could withstand splashes and light water. I wouldn't leave it in the rain or dunk it in a pool, it's definitely not rates for that. If you're expecting a water proof speaker, I'd go elsewhere, this is not your best bet.
Sound: The real reason you bought this speaker, the sound. It sounds great! There are two knobs to control the bass and tremble and they do a pretty good job allowing for tailoring of the sound. The speaker gets very loud and is crisp and clear at all volumes. This is the best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker I've had in a long long time.
Connectivity: it connects using Bluetooth 5.0 aptx, the latest and greatest Bluetooth standard. I found the connection ok, I still got some disconnects walking to other parts of my home but, if you're in the same room, it stays connected well. There's also a plug for a 3.5mm Jack if you want to plug an auxiliary cord in and jam. I wish this also had the RCA jacks that are on some other of Marshall's speakers but, I understand this is meant for moving around, and for the most part anything that connects via RCA isn't going to fit in the same category as this speaker.
Overall I think this is a great speaker, which it Should be given the price. If you are looking for a speaker for outdoor parties or something where you won't be lugging this thing huge distances and plan to set it on the ground, it'll do that great. I really think the best use is out by a pool or on the patio in the summer. That's definitely where mine will end up.
