I have searched high and low for the perfect speaker... and finally found it here. My jaw hit the floor when I first played it. 1 month later, I think it’s broken in and playing even better. So happy!!!

The Marshall Portable Bluetooth speaker looks exactly like the larger versions that the pro's use - it's just smaller and easily portable. I have been using the speaker for over a week now and I have only charged it the first time. It touts a 20 hour battery life and I believe it. It was very easy to connect to my phone or you can use an aux cable. The bass that comes out of this is unbelievable. I took it to work with me one day and I was playing a Miley Cyrus playlist. One of my coworkers thought there was work going on outside because of the bass. LOL! The only thing that I would like to see improved is the weight. It is definitely heavier than other portable speakers I have. Other than that - it is awesome looking, sounds great and have a long battery life! What else can you ask for?

The music is very good but the music is so loud the vocals nonexistent at medium volume.

This speaker has a very solid build. It weighs almost 11 pounds, but it is easy to carry around by the removable strap. It has over 20 hours of playtime and supports multiple devices with Bluetooth 5.0. The speaker will enter power saving/sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. It will not wake up by trying to connect from your device, but you can tap the Bluetooth button on the top panel to wake the speaker. The Bluetooth and battery lights dim after 30 seconds but get bright again when you adjust one of the knobs on top. The battery lights turn on and off sequentially when the speaker is powered on and off which is a nice touch. The sound made when Bluetooth connects is like a guitar plugged into an amp and the disconnect sound is like someone unplugging a guitar with a bit of string noise. Sounds cool compared to the usual boring beeps and obnoxious voices on other speakers. Multi-directional sound. Most of the sound comes out the front grill but there is a small speaker grill on the rear panel, top right. The base reflex system has the port in the rear. Power cable is removable and a rubber flap covers the power port when the cable is unplugged. IPX2 water resistance. This can handle a few drops of water when the device is tilted up to 15 degrees. It might protect against some rain drops during your picnic until you get under cover or back to your car. It would have been nice to have better water/dust protection, but this speaker is just too nice to use in those environments. This thing sounds great. I really like this speaker. Top Panel: - Bluetooth button used for pairing, selecting audio source and wake from standby. - Power/Volume knob. - Bass knob. - Treble knob. - Battery charge indicator lights (10) Back Panel: - 3.5mm mini jack stereo input. - Power input located behind a silicone weather seal/flap. - Rear facing speaker. - Bass port for bass reflex system.

wow gift for grand daughter I am the MAN she loves it

I exchanged a Christmas gift for this speaker that I heard a lot of good reviews about. I am from Colombia, and was just spending time in houston for vacation. th3 speaker worked great at first for about 24 hours and then it completely stopped working when I got back to Colombia. I looked up all the troubleshooting steps and did some researching on google, and it turns out the speaker I happened to get is defective due to other consumers having the same issues. It won’t play any music the red light turns on for maybe a second and I spent almost $400 on this. The worst part about all of this, is that I’m out of the country so I can’t just return it back in a Best Buy store. So now I’m in another country with a $400 paper weight. I know it’s not Best Buy’s fault and things do go wrong sometimes, but I have no way of fixing this issue due to my current location and Best Buy policy. I am so disappointed that out of all the speakers made by the manufacture, I happened to get one that was defective. I would love to return it or get my money back but I’m not sure if that’s even possible. This is why I’m giving “Marshall” a 1star. If someone reads this and can possibly give me some kind of solution I would really appreciate the effort got help. I feel like crying...

Works perfect for my outside patio, while BBQ and having beer

First off, Marshall sets in a distinct class of its own being known for classy looks that spell vintage, respect, aesthetics all matched with superior performance. However, this new design on this one (Tufton) gets a A++, the taller rectangular look aligns with Marshall’s head turning, eye pleasing products. The Tufton design looks like an upgraded version of its products in order to fit in with Marshall’s distinct line-up of audio in my opinion. While I appreciate that this is a portable speaker, the black décor heightens the signature gold that Marshall is known for. Sound-the sound produced from the Tufton is superior with TRULY clear concise sound with the PERFECT BASS! I added the Tufton to my desktop PC and thereafter, I listened to my songs that are on Dropbox and I am elated to report, I got a great listening experience from every aspect. While this design is portable, I personally would not want to risk carrying it around because of the possibility of damage that can occur. If you’re wanting to upgrade or experience true listening without any type of distortion, then please don’t look any further because Marshall is truly the gold standard in audio!

This speaker is AMAZING!! Price is up there but for sure well worth it! The bass is amazing. I work in a huge warehouse where we are aloud to have our speakers on our equipment while working and even with all the noise in the warehouse this speaker is still really loud! And puts our quality sound!

Good but expansive speaker a little bulky. not sure if worth the price

Let me first say I was blown away by the sound quality from the Marshall Tufton Speaker. The bass was rocking and the highs were screaming.The sound quality will put you in the mind of a complete home audio system. The speaker itself is also constructed very solid. It actually reminds of the speaker amps used by many lead guitarist. The battery life is very impressive. And you'll absolutely love the carrying strap. This is a definite addition to any summer party or backyard barbeque.
