The bass is absurd. I have a home pod both big and small and some other speakers and this one just murders them.

Can use accessory port to connect Alexa Echo which was an unexpected and awesome secondary benefit as an option for background music. This is Bluetooth connect but not a cordless system so battery life question not relevant.
