Easily my favorite movie in the MCU. I really wish there was a 4K version.

The movie itself (skip to "Blu-ray Presentation" if you're only interested in the quality of the disc): I enjoy most movies in the Marvel series, and Dr. Strange is no exception. Personally, I'd say this was not only one of the best Marvel movies, but one of the best movies - period - I've seen in the past few years. I knew very little about the comic and the movie going in, but between the story, character development and performance, spectacular visual effects, and pure entertainment value, this movie delivered in every way. Blu-ray Presentation: Seeing this in 3D was AWESOME (had only seen 2D in the theater). Not every movie is worth the extra coin for 3D. This one is. I cannot speak for the 2D Blu-ray as I haven't watched it yet, but generally when the 3D transfer looks this clear, smooth, and vibrant, the 2D delivers just as well in its own right. Sound was equally bold and well crafted. 5/5 stars for the film, and A/V presentation.

One of the most gorgeous looking movie and the steelbook is nice too

I'm a Marvel fan, nothing against DC or anything but it I've found most of the Marvel movies to be better overall. Better stories, better effects, better editing, just entertaining throughout. With Doctor Strange I loved the visuals of the film. Yes you might think of Inception when you watch it (or read other reviews) but that's not surprising as the Director said in his commentary that he drew inspiration from that film. It's not a total knock off either or anything, it has its own distinctive style too it and combined with the fight scenes and the magical element it make it into something amazing. The special features of his movie are fun with lots of in-depth behind the scenes that break down the fight sequences, the inspiration for the hand gestures and more details about the locations they used, plus the always fun gag reel and sneak peak into other Marvel movies (Thor in this case). There's plenty in this Blu Ray to keep you occupied.

Loved the comics, movie was pretty great. Good movie for surround sound.
