Another quality entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Benedict Cumberbatch makes a perfect Stephen Strange. It's going to be so much fun to see him match wits with Tony Stark in future films. I bought this at Best Buy to get the brilliantly designed steelbook. It's so completely non-commercial, no gaudy branding or giant floating actor's heads, just a reproduction of a key prop from the story. I love how the energy flowing from the Eye of Agamotto seems to pulsate when you tilt it around. Excellent collectable.

The great thing about Doctor Strange , Antman and Guardians of the Galaxy is how great Marvel has told these stories making them just as impressive as the bigger heros like Hulk or Ironman. These next movies featuring the so called second tier hero's are so great they lead us to wonder and anticipate what's coming next. DS is filled with great CGI and action. The story is just deep enough to keep you feeling this is something special and you learn to love these characters. I very much recommend this entry in the MCU.

If you are a fan of the Marvel Universe this movie is just what you would expect. The visuals are amazing and it is a great introduction into the character of Doctor Strange. Only negative is it feels very familiar, as it follows a similar plotline to other Marvel films. However, the movie is fun, exciting and really cool to look at. As for the steelbook option, there really is no reason to get the steelbook set unless you are a collector of the steelbook cases. No additional benefits other than having a cool case.

An interesting but good story! Fun MCU moviegoer everyone!

Another stellar Marvel Studios production. Some of Marvel's best have been what I would call the 2nd tier Marvel titles, "Antman", Guardians of The Galaxy" and now "Dr. Strange". Hopefully the suits over at Warner Bros/DCU pick-up on the fact that some key moments of humor go a long way in a film. Short rant...another reason why TV manufacturers are short-sighted in discontinuing 3D sets. Dr Strange was made for 3D and is a tent pole title in that regard. 3D was sold out at my BB. Lucky I reserved a copy on line.

I'm a natural Marvel fanboy by nature, so this isn't so much for the movie as it is for the packaging, which is why I came to Best Buy to get it. I love that they offer pre-order options for these movies that let me pick up in store since I'm working a 9 to 5 away from home; makes for a nice visit to the store while ensuring I'm getting the product I want! I'm not so much a digital copy kind of guy, but I enjoy having the DVD and Blu-Ray options together; plus, it's a great movie, so win/win!

The cast is great unfortunately like the "Guardians of the galaxy" movies I've never read the comic. Overall it's a good orgin story but the movie gets a little Matrix on me. I look forward to the next film. I have read it's going to have Scarlet witch in it.

I was familiar with doctor strange from the animated shows/movies and comic history...and I watched BC on sherlock. Wasn't sure if he would be able to pull this off, but i was pleasantly surprised! Just like RDJ IS iron man, Benedict Cumberbatch IS Doctor Strange. The action is on point, and story line is great. Even though some might think it's kind of long, this is a great movie. I've already watched it multiple times since having it. If you're a marvel fan, you have to own this movie.

So often superhero movies are overlooked and/or thought to be quite cheesy. In my opinion, Doctor Strange fills the want, need/desire for a strong movie as well as the aspect of a superheroes. Surroundsound is excellent with great punch when you want it. The storyline is great as well. Often the backstory on certain heros/people in movies are weak yet I feel you get enough information to know who Stephen Strange is. I feel it was one of the best moves in this genre an Marvel hit another homerun.

Great movie! Just like all of the Avenger movies!!
