Excellent Trip into the World of Magic! Brilliant insight into the comic world, where Doctor Strange stumbles , finds himself, his hands, heart and mind forged with the dimensions of the unknown, as He Transforms into the Defender of the Universe! The 3D Version presents this journey Very Well and allows You to see it Unfold! A long time waiting for this Caped Marvel, but He is making One Heck of an Entrance With 3D Magic!

In maybe the most ambitious story Marvel has brought to the big screen with Dr. Strange, they managed to nail it. Dr. Strange is the kingpin of the mystical side of the Marvel Universe and conceptually one of the most difficult to portray even in the comics. They did a great job in this movie! It is entertaining, funny, and has enough of the comic geek stuff to make me happy! The bonus material is fantastic as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. While the collaboration films are good, I enjoy the solo movies very much because it allows the story to develop. I am a big fan of Benedict Cumberbatch, and I thought his portrayal of Stephen Strange was wonderful. Personally, I would have liked a little more conflict with Dormmamu, but it is an origin story so I get it. Mads Mikkelson is brilliant once again. He's a great character actor.

Cumberbatch is great as Doctor Strange. Strong visuals, a well-told story, and an even stronger supporting cast help make this one of the better comic book films from the past year. As for the BR/DVD itself, there's lots of great extra features, especially the BTS featurette about the making of the movie and the really funny Thor & Darryl Part 2 clip. The sound is nice and crisp and the visuals are stunning on Blu-ray.

A truly beautiful Steelcase. I'm not always a fan of the art they use for these things but this looks really nice. Anyone with Disney+ has probably already seen the 4K version but physical media nearly always provides a better experience for audio and picture due to the higher bitrates.

I was patiently looking forward to this film’s 4K Blu-ray release. I initially ordered the non-SteelBook 4K version when it came on sale on Black Friday. But this SteelBook version came on sale a week later for even cheaper. Glad I ended up with the SteelBook version has very attractive artwork and matches the other SteelBooks in the Marvel Universe series.

I remember seeing this movie a couple of weeks after it came out I thought it was okay but since I have all of the Marvel movie's from all the different studio's I still wanted to see this movie. I thought if I watched it a second time I might enjoy it more. I actually did but I didn't really know his character. I prefer the Captain America films from the MCU the most of any of them. This is still a very enjoyable movie.

I've read the comic books so when I heard they're making it into a movie, I was skeptical. My 10 year old asked if we can watch the premiere showing. I was still doubtful but we went. The moment it started I was already blown away. The effects that I read in the comic books were definitely realized. Watch this if your fan, and even if your not, you will definitely like this movie. I got the Bluray as soon as it dropped.

I was hesitant about this movie, it was a blind buy, but it was on sale, and now I am glad I made the purchase. I don't see why everyone is all up in arms about a white person playing whats supposed to an Asian. What you all have to understand is, when have ANY of the comic-to-movies ever been spot on? I mean, I personally can name one, Deadpool. Otherwise, All are different, and all are entertaining. Deal with it:)

I wanted to buy this for my son for his birthday. To be honest, I checked out Amazon, first, and was bummed to see that I couldn't pre-purchase, though they allow book purchases up to a year in advance. So, I checked out Best Buy and was happy to see that they DID allow me to pre-purchase. The price was a little more, but they lowered it while I was waiting for the item to be available, so it was great. Son loved it!

Entertaining so not disappointing but also not the best of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. Wonderful visuals but not hugely engaging characters. Still, this is an important part of the Marvel's Cinematic Universe as will be seen in upcoming films so it warrants viewing. As for the 3D Blue Ray, Cool packaging, pristine transfer, effective 3D effects, and great DTS HD audio. Recommdded addition to your Marvel collection.

Marvel Fanatic?? Then surely you have seen this movie at some point, right?!?! If not, you better watch it...even if you’re not a Marvel Fanatic watch it! Steel books are the way to go for great storytelling. Dr. Strange is a great way to pull someone in to watching a Marvel movie or at least it was me. Kept my attention from the start.

He is a doctor, surgeon if I remember correctly, they call him doctor strange because he is really strange, he dresses strange, he moves his hands strange, he talks to his cape (he has a cape that is like Aladdin's carpet) he talks to a bald lady too who herself talks strange. Maybe I'm not doing it justice, you should watch it though.

Doctor Strange is yet another superhero origin story, and one that follows similar beats to Iron Man, which makes sense considering Stephen Strange is basically the Tony Stark of Marvel's Arcane line up. But as part of the MCU, Doctor Strange is a thoroughly enjoyable film, with some really cool visual effects sequences and set pieces. The bluray quality is excellent, and the supplemental features are worth a look.

Terrific addition to the Marvel universe and an original unique character among the usual heroes. Just a really fun character who goes fun to serious back to fun. The movie has great action, character building and humor laced throughout and despite my hate of all the magic stuff (Harry Potter stinks) this was really good. Visuals and 3D were top notch and added to the movie they didn't distract. Highly recommended.

I used to read the Dr. Strange comics as a kid and was wondering if the movie would be able to do it justice since the world of Sorcery can visually blow your mind. Believe me, reading the comics you really had to use your imagination. Well, Marvel has really lived up to the challenge! It was as if the comic had come to life, and it unfolded (visually) just as I had imagined it, so many years ago. Well Done!

The Marvel Studios machine has delivered entertaining & fun action adventure since 2008's Iron Man, and Dr. Strange is no exception. Like Tony Stark, Stephen Strange is a wealthy & talented man consumed by his own ego (Strange is a highly skilled neurosurgeon). After a car accident mangles his hands, Strange travels to Nepal looking for a cure-and discovers a secret society of magicians and sorcerers. The cast led by Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange is top-notch and the visual effects showing the spells the sorcerers cast are excellent. Along with an informative director's commentary and solid extras, the Dr. Strange Blu-ray is great entertainment for any fans of Marvel movies.

Marvel seems to stay on top with every new superhero they introduce and never getting boring, although I didn't know much about Doctor Strange going in I definitely appreciate the story and action as they made me actually care for a hero I never I knew much about it is packed with a great amount of special features and if you haven't seen it in 3-D it is mind blowing so enjoy this movie because it's another hit.

Just like everything in the MCU, this movie is a delight. It has a great storyline, great acting and action, out of this world special effects and it is another fantastic movie in the MCU. I really enjoyed seeing how Doctor Strange developed from a not-so-likable surgeon into the mystic wizard he became. Kudos!

I am an ardent Marvel fan. Dr. Strange was a character that blended the Mystic arts into super hero lore. I was super excited when I learned Marvel was doin a full length feature film. The writing was good , the special effects are amazing, the story and acting engaging. I preordered this dvd/bluray combo a month before it's release . It is a welcomed addition to my collection as it would be for yours for sure.
