I bought this movie for my wife as a Christmas present because she loves the Marvel Universe characters. I didn't think it was going to be any good but I was wrong. The movie had a good story line, action packed and something the whole family can watch. I promise you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I are busy collecting all the movies that Marvel puts out and this one didn't disappoint! It was amazing with the effects and had a really interesting story line! I was not familiar with this character prior to the movie, but my husband knows just about everything about Marvel and their comics and LOVED this! Give it a try and enjoy the ride!

I own almost every super hero movie out there. Marvel always does a great job with the actors/actresses they choose. The story lines are well written and the action is spot on. This movie takes it to a different level. It interjects knowledge and wisdom with the action. Cumberpatch was an excellent choice for this role. I've already watched this 3 times.

They did it again. Benedict Cumberbatch!!!! Excellent pick. This man can do no wrong and his character take on Dr. Strange was exceptional. He has the look, the talk. Tilda Swinton doesn't get enough kudos in cinema, but they played well together. Marvel just keeps hitting it out of the park.

I had been biding my time since the movie was released on Blue-Ray for the price to get below $20. I like the last minutes of the movie best because it came closest to the actual character that first appeared in Strange Tales during my childhood. The special effects for the "villain" were very well done and his cape is a must for the Dr. Strange look.

I cannot stress how much I loved Dr. Strange. It is very true to the characters and origin from the comics, perhaps the best since the first Capt. America film- If u can overlook the female non Asian Ancient One. The movie is a non stop ride of excellent special effects and a mind bending trip thru the Astral plane into other dimensions. Not to be missed.

ben cumberbutt did an excellent job and was really in character. i enjoyed this movie. the changes they made from the comics seems to fit right for the movie adaptation. love the steelbook , but really wish the name of the movie was on the steelbook. once you open the package, doctor strange is not written anywhere. that is the only uncool thing about it.

One of the things I love about Marvel is that they don't take themselves too seriously. They manage to seamlessly weave comedic relief into each movie without detracting from the integrity or quality of the story. This one lives up to that same standard, the cinematography is brilliant and beautiful and the movie itself is refreshingly family friendly.

The Marvel Comics movies are not meant to be taken seriously: they're just a lot of fun. Popcorn movies. Dr. Strange fits in this category —and what it does, it does extremely well. Pure entertainment. Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton are both superb. The supporting cast are all fine, and the special effects make this a truly "trippy movie"!

This movie follows the usual Marvel origins formula but it succeeds nonetheless. Cumberbatch is perfectly casted as Doctor Strange along with all the supporting characters. This movie showed us the mystical part of the MCU, while it can be a bit odd, it still fits the story. Can't wait to see all these heroes coming together in Avengers Infinity War!

This was purchased for my nephew, who is a big fan of Doctor Strange, This movie is about a famous neurosurgeon who's lives changes after a car accident where he losses the use of his hands, he looks to untraditional medicine for help where he acquired magical powers. This is a very interesting story which will be enjoyed by all ages. we gave it s stars

It's an absolutely amazing action movie from the near-always excellent MARVEL series of the superhero genre. Doctor Strange was so great and entertaining. I do love the reference he made of The Avengers, and the Infinity Stones, too! Can't wait to see Doctor Strange's cameo in... Thor: Ragnarok, and then, later-- the two-part Avengers movies with Thanos!

Did a great job using the surgeon, destroyed who the Ancient One was supposed to be, but a bald woman kind of worked with the actor, nice job with Dormamo, ruined some of the future side plot characters and made the Eye an Infinity Stone. Marvel aka Disney and Hollywood are still trying to destroy our comic book hero stories. Overall I enjoyed the story.

Ever since I watched 'The Avengers - Infinity War' I've had a renewed desire to watch all the Marvel Studios movies in chronological order. I definately recommend getting all these movies and rewatching them. There are so many things I missed the first time watching! Don't forget to watch all the credit and wait until the very end!!!

So far we have only watched the 3D version of doctor strange. The 3D version is clear with great affects. Since the movie is loaded with dimensional images, for us 3D is the only way to watch Dr. Strange. We have one television (master bedroom) that allows us to watch 3D movies and another (for the kids) to watch regular bluray movies that is located in our recreational room. It may be time to purchased another 4K 3D UHD television for the kids to also enjoy 3d movies like Dr. Strange. Not all movies made in 3D are worth the purchase price, but Dr. Strange is worth seeing in 3d.

i have to say that I really enjoyed the movie however my wife didn't like it as much as I did. For her there was to much story not enough action. lol. That said it is another good marvel movie, with action, humor and a good story that blends into the Marvel universe. As usual there is the Stan Lee cameo and referencing at the end to additional movies.

Great movie! Wasn't sure what to expect and how they would handle this Marvel character, but they did a really good job of taking the world of Marvel to the next level ..or should I say dimension! Great special effects and story, but may be over most young kids' heads. But as an 'older kid' I thought this was a really good addition to the collection.

I have had to make the decision for sometime whether I should buy a 3d or 4k disc of marvel movies. I have usually leaned to buying 3d since I know supply wise I can pick up the 4k down the road. Not a hard call here the 4k is really well done but DR stange is meant to be seen in 3d now the 3d does not have a a dolby atmos track which has been a screwing by Disney in my opinion. However the 3d does have an excellent 7.1 track that with an upmixer you won't be missing much.

I wish I could give this movie ten stars! I picked up "Dr. Strange" stories straight off the comic book racks when I was in high school. Steve Ditko was the paramount artist for this series. Imagine my surprise when the movie presented Ditko's character with such amazing accuracy that it made me want to look up those old comics! More! More! More!

My husband & I saw this movie in the theaters and is was great. It was better than what we expected. We just love how Marvel has done each movie very carefully, giving the fans/viewers an action packed movie as well with comedy. This movie delivered it very well. We just can't wait for the sequel of this movie and also seeing him in Thor: Ragnarok.
