Just when you think Marvel movies can do no wrong they up their own level for quality for a superhero movie.Can't say enough great things about this movie ( humor, action, eye-opening special effects) and believe even the novice superhero movie fan or the movie goer not that interested in the genre would enjoy Dr. Strange!

Visually this movie recalls Inception's look, but it is magic, not dreams that cause the dimensions of this world to go haywire. Dr. Strange is a Marvel hero in the standard Marvel universe who discovers a place where magic can be learned and controlled in his pursuits of a cure for his car-crash-damaged hands. This opens up a new world for him and a quite visual world for us. It's an origin story and not one of Marvel's best, but still an entertaining and fairly compelling flick. 3D looks amazing. 2D is also quite strong. There are lots of supplements.

Marvel gives a great adaptation of the story line of how Dr.Strange becomes the character we all know from the comic books. Benedict gives a wonderful performance in this marvel thriller and leaves the audience asking for more as his role will be reprised in the Avengers Infinity War! Great movie to own with the other Marvel movies.

Disney and Marvel's success lies in the fact that they can introduce characters that are not as popular as Spider-Man or Iron Man and make amazing movies around them that brings this cinematic universe to life. The closer we get to the Infinity Wars movies, the more it amazes us that Marvel is betting large on characters that are unknown outside of comic book reader circles. The reason Marvel is a lot more successful than DC right now is that they are taking chances on new characters that broaden the scope of what comic book movies can be.

I never knew much about Doctor Strange, other than the name, before seeing this film and I was blown away. Amazing visuals, a great performance by Benedict Cumberbatch, and an inspirational story of love, loss, mysticism, and finding your place in an ever more complicated world. A perfect way to entertain and expand your mind.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the best movie franchise hands down. Saw the movie on opening weekend out of loyalty to the brand, knowing that it would be good, quality entertainment. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. Saw it twice in the theater and three times since bringing it home. Best line: "Dormamu, I came to bargain!"

Enjoyed this movie in the theater and it looks great on BR. Had some starts and stops trying to order the steelbook version online, but was able to find it in-store, despite the website saying otherwise. Was nice to see an MCU movie take a step back and focus on the title character rather than try to jam in (at times unnecessary) cameos.

Ever since Marvel started making the movies of their great stable of Heroes I've been hoping for Dr. Strange to make it to the screen. This translation to Blu Ray did a great job capturing that movie. Nice 'steelbook' cover, feels substantial and it should last. The Bonus features are a nice plus, standard fare for today's movie releases. The gag real is good, loved the humor! Some deleted scenes help fill in gaps and were short enough they should have been left in the movie. Glad I purchased this rather than streaming it, those were worth the price alone.

I think this was the traditional Marvel formula for Doctor Strange. If you like the formula and don't really know the character I think you would enjoy it, if however you already know his story, we are still waiting to see Strange at his full power. Keep an eye out for him to show up for Infinity War to make friends with the Avengers.

I had not seen this movie prior to purchase but bought it on the premise that all of the Marvel movies up to this point had been amazing. I knew a bit about the character as a comic book reader and collector but was surprised at how much I enjoyed the story of Dr. Strange; we have already watched it several times and it does not get old

My favorite MCU movie so far. Love the fantastical nature of the effects, that confidently break from realism. This is actually the only MCU movie I own on blu ray. Also, I like Tilda as the Ancient One/Sorcerer Supreme.

As a review of this specific product and not the movie itself, this is a really neat looking SteelBook. It's simple and nicely designed and more subtle than you might normally expect something like this to be. If you're interested in a case that's a little more interesting than the standard Blu-ray case, this is the way to go for sure.

Marvel proves once again that they know how to make fun and entertaining films that capture the imagination and bring you something new and exciting to see come to life on the screen. Best Buy also once again does a great job with their steel-books and this once is no different. The 3D is also quite amazing in this film. A must watch!

Marvel did a great job explaining the origin of Dr. Strange while also incorporating an entertaining first adventure. Dr. Strange is one of the most unusual Marvel characters, but if you like Marvel, you'll like this. (Plus, you should probably see it so the character makes sense when he appears in other Marvel films in the future...)

Dr. Strange is another arm in the Marvel Universe that will eventually lead to Avengers Infinity War. Great special effects for an origins movie. Entertaining and fun but cut too short. I wanted to see Dr. Strange at his peak instead of discovering his potential. Maybe we see that in the next film. Add it to your collection and enjoy.

A marvel character I was not familiar with. I've heard of him but didn't know anything about him. After watching (really recommend 3D, yes I still have my 3D tv) I was impressed and can't wait to see him in the next installment! The movie did not disappoint, and remember watch the credits to see how he will fit in the marvel universe.

Best Buy has not let me down yet with having plenty of movies in stock and in good condition. My son(7yrs old) loves this movie. (says it's better than avengers civil war) not sure if I can agree with him since I have yet to see the movie myself. My son is heavily into marvel and D.C. Alike so he would definitely recommend this movie.

One of the few movies that is best viewed in 3D bluray format. Visually fascinating and a perfect introduction of Dr. Strange in to the MCU. Cumberbatch is charming, arrogant, and redeeming as Dr. Strange. One of the best origin movies since Iron Man 1. Get it! Watch it! Watch it again! The special feature with Thor is soooooo good!!!

Kids and even my wife, who can fall asleep while watching any movies, love this... should I say.... strange movie? Benedict Cumberbatch does an awesome job as always and I like his character's quirky sense of humor as well as his scene with Dormamu. Absolutely hilarious. Highly recommended for the entire family!

Another great marvel adventure with fast jam packed action. Dr strange is definitely what the title suggests,strange. This movie introduces a prideful doctor who who must learn humility and accept spiritual philosophies to evolve into the amazing Dr Strange. A lot of humor to balance the mild violence. Interesting twist at the end.
