I followed the X-men comics and slightly some of the Avengers, but never really got into anything with Doctor Strange. So this was a good introduction to the character which made me research him more. The movie was action packed, with a tripe aspect, and had some comedy. The special effects were done very well also.

For a number of years now, I've been moving my collection to digital. In fact, all of my purchases have been digital the last three years, other than Best Buy's steelbooks. I've purchased ever Marvel Cinematic Universe steelbook I can get my hands on. The Dr. Strange steelbook is gorgeous and a must-have for collectors.

Another Marvel movie, and another huge success! Dr. Strange brings his magic touch to the Marvel Universe, and things will never be the same. This blu-ray, with digital copy, dvd and 3d versions as well, is the best way to experience this effects-heavy film.

I honestly didn't watch this movie until after I saw Infinity War. I didn't think I would like it at all. I was wrong. After seeing his character in IW, I wanted to watch this. I like his character, and Benedict does a great job in the role.

I just wish they would give us the IMAX format in 4K.

Wonderful movie! As soon as I think Marvel overreached they prove how creative they can be by taking something that could easily be stale and putting a fresh spin on it. They did a nice job at introducing mysticism to the MCU and expanding the universe. Even if you hadn't been introduced to the MCU still an enjoyable story.

This is a great movie. Visually stunning, great plot, great cast. But - very mild spoilers below - even though this movie deals with things that are obviously impossible, one of the weakest plot points in my opinion was the fact that this guy drives like a maniac! Why would you do that? That's just asking for trouble!

Great DVD package. Absolute love the Blu-ray of all the extra features and the behind the scenes look at dr. Strange. Great deal only $27 plus tax. Doctor Strange it's one of my favorite Marvel Comics movies. It is an experiment having sureal very trippyand psychedelic. Benjamin Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange's Is must buy.

Marvel's ability to continually integrate characters into their cinematic universe through different genres of film has been impressive. While Doctor Strange does have its flaws, the visuals are stunning, and even more so in 3D. The presentation in the steelbook with the book (and no text!) design fits the film perfectly.

First saw this movie in theaters not knowing what to expect. I had some background on most other Marvel characters that had movies out, but not so much on Dr Strange. Of you are looking for a good origin movie and love the marvel universe then definitely check it out, but don't expect it to be good as the first Iron Man.

I like the fact that Marvel/Disney kept this one close to the original without forcing crossover characters into it to sell it. Benedict Cumberbatch was restrained--could have blown this up like RD Jr's Iron Man. Ok I get the need to not have the Ancient One be Tibetan to satisfy the People's Republic of China's sensors.

With off-shoots like DeadPool and Suicide Squad, the water was getting a little murky but Dr. Strange helped clear it up. What makes this movie so good is the casting, not just Benedict, Everyone! This movie takes the time to tell Dr. Strange's very strange story.With great acting and out of this world effects, 5 stars!

Ok this isn't Sherlock Holmes but it does have the same actor Benedict Cumberbatch. This movie had an Inception look to it, as well as an amazing CGI job and the acting was good also. It was funny as well as emotional at times. The MCU is expanding more with Dr Strange and we can expect to see more of him in the future.

Kind of disappointed, not at the movie but at the 4K upgrade. Magic scenes are great but others are not a difference from the earlier blu ray release

Another awesome entry into was has s far been a perfect series, some great special effects similar to Inception and taking them beyond, the story arc is not dissimilar to Tony Stark's except a lot heavier on the self improvement aspect, the comedy elements miss the mark a bit but not at the expense of anything going on.

This movie is a great origin story out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie looks great in 3D as well due to all the trippy digital effects. If you like Marvel, you'll love it. If you like action movies, you'll likely love it. If you tend to have seizures from flashing lights, I guarantee you'll hate it.

This is one of the best Marvel movies ever produced by Disney. While the special effects are amazing, the plot also draws the viewer into the story line and maintains your attention to the very end. I highly recommend this movie to any sci-fi, fantasy, action-oriented viewer. I sincerely doubt you will be disappointed!

Saw this movie in 3D at the theater when it was first released. Bought the 3D Bluray version and was not disappointed. I have a home theater 3D projector that creates a 106" image.The visual effects were just as mind blowing at home as it was in the theater. Great story line, hopefully leading to an exciting series.

I have long been a fan of the Dr. Strange character, and I thought they did a great job with the movie, Good casting (despite the stupidity? absurdity? of not choosing an Asian actor for The Ancient One). Most would say not the greatest of the Marvel movies, but a lot of fun. Enjoy having both DVD & Blu-ray.

They picked the perfect actors for the iconic roles in this movie though I am still a bit baffled over choosing Tilda for the Ancient One. She was great in the role, but that doesn't make it any less odd. While there are many great scenes in the movie, I would have to list the "i don't drink tea" scene one of my faves
