Well executed plot . For a action movie fanatic this is just what the doctor ordered. Though I personally am not a fanatic for this type of movie I had to buy it after seeing at the movies.

but this was a great Marvel Origin story and dare I say "essential" part of the the Marvel storyline. Fantastic casting for all characters and Cumberbatch was perfection. Great combo package too. Blu ray is essential for this movie, but nice to have the other options too.

Another great movie from Marvel. The cinematography is excellent. The 3D version will leave you a little exhausted. Watch carefully you will almost miss Sam Lee's cameo. Wonderful entertainment. Great buy and invest in the 3D version.

This is one of Marvel's BEST origin stories yet (hopefully only because Black Panther isn't out yet). The graphics in the theatre were epic so I knew I'd have to own the Blu-ray. The featurettes were great too! SUCKS that my best buy did not offer the 3D version of the blu-ray though. Not sure why.

This Marvel/Disney movie has it all, and the special effects are out of this world! If you are into the Marvel Cinema Universe then grab this movie and let your mind be blown! The actors bring their best skills in the magical realm of Doctor Strange. The Marvel Mystic is alive and well in this DVD.

I was a bit thrown back by Benedict Cumberbatch's "American" accent. He sounds so much better in his native English. In any event, I found the story to be engrossing and the special effects are beyond amazing. How they were able to fold NYC into right angles and different planes just blew me away.

Great Marvel movie! Really enjoyed all the special effects. My kids really like the part where he discovers his cape or should I say where his cape chooses him. It's pretty funny. I can't wait for number 2 we will definitely be buying that one as well. Its a great movie to watch over again.

I have to say I was sad to read they've phased out 3D from the high end TV's. I've bought 3D blurays over the 2D when available. That being said this is a great/ fun movie that clearly benefits from the 3D format. If you have the ability to watch it in that format do so. You won't be disappointed.

I loved Dr. Strange as a kid and really enjoyed the movie. They did a great job of reflecting his backstory and his growth, ala, Iron Man. The best part of the disk though are the extras with Thor hanging out with his roommate. He's a bit grumpy about Tony not calling him for help. Very funny.

This movie is a very good marvel movie because its different from all the other marvel characters. Its mostly about mind and spirit instead of physical fights. I had never heard of doctor strange before and I can say that after watching this movie he's one of my top favorite marvel super heroes.

I didn't get to watch this movie in theaters or in 3D. So this review is just for the 2D version. Overall the movie felt like the first Iron Man movie, but with magic. Good comedy. The fx were fantastic. There was just something missing, and I don't know what that was to make this movie excellent.

DOCTOR STRANGE dares to take everything we've come to love from our favorite superhero movies and takes it to a whole other world!!! It has a good blend of action, good story pace, and comedy. Sure to keep the kids entertained. Regardless of age, If you like good movies, this one won't disappoint

This movie turned out to be one of my favorites of the MCU. Not being very familiar with the character Doctor Strange this was one of my least anticipated MCU movies. When I saw it I was pleasantly surprised. Cumberbatch was amazing in this role.

This was the first movie I watched on my new 75" Sony 4K, and it was spectacular. Even though it was the Bluray format and not 4K, the upscaling was fantastic and the movie looked very close to being in 3D. Hopefully Disney will get off the fence and start releasing titles in the 4K format soon.

Picture quality is wonderful. Kudos to the installation team who recommended changing the height of the larger set for better viewing. Sound quality is so much better than older set; no longer need a sound bar.

Marvel has truly changed the landscape of action films. Doctor Strange effectively integrates itself into the ever-expanding universe of Marvel Heroes. This film is part Matrix, part Inception, without losing the humor that makes Marvel movies so much fun. Great cast, acting, and cinematography.

Fantastic movie, stellar special effects and leaves you wanting that next marvel movie even more. Great deal as it contains BR, DVD, and digital HD copies of the film and nice that they didn't make you buy the 3D BR in order to get the digital copy (seems a lot of marvel movies had that happen).

I have to admit - I knew very little about this movie going in, and was pleasantly surprised. I like how marvel is basically introducing these characters to people who know nothing about them. They get you invested in the characters before they become the "superhero". What's to become of the superhero, you can't help but root for them. :-) They've also done a good job of integrating all of these characters into one universe. It will be interesting to see how the next few movies shape up.

Terrific movie in 4K.. I have the Blu-ray version too. The 4K version is so much better. The video is much brighter and the colors are also better. The HDR brings out a better overall experience.

This movie is a great ride through the multiverse. It has great action and good humor and a well told story. This is good origin story for a lesser know character and good introduction to the supernatural side of the MCU. The Special effects ate great and best seen in 3D. Good special features.
