My kids wanted to have a Marvel movie marathon & this was one of the movies we needed.

As a long time comic collector, i have always walked into the movies with low expectations for big screen adaptations. Recent movies and technology have enabled me to expect more over the recent Super Hero movies. This movie stands alone for those without any previous super hero history and shines for those of us that enjoy the rich history of these character. This movie was visually stunning and one of the few that requires a 3d viewing. The mystical universe that this movie opens up within the existing MCU becomes intriguing. The performances were exemplary and i found the casting choices to be very competent ones that breathed life into these characters. Yeah, i would have liked the ancient one to be an old asian feeble guy on deaths door, but Tilda did a magnificent job fulfilling the role and bringing the story together. i also really enjoy the durability and look of the steel book versions of the releases. Just wish Best Buy stocked more copies so that i did not have to preorder so far in advance or hit multiple stores to find a copy.

This is a great movie and good-looking steelbook artwork, love the embossing/debossing.

I didn't see this in the theater because of the super natural angle to it. There wasn't as much magic as i thought. Great special effects and good story. I've watched it more than once.

I like Best Buy's blu-ray steelbook versions. Plus, Dr. Strange is a pretty good Marvel movie. By no means one of their best, but it's still enjoyable, especially the special effects.

Purchased this movie in 4K and it didn't let me down, I wanted it for my son as it was a Xmas present but unfortunately the 4K version didn't release until December 26th 2019. My son owns all of the Marvel films on 4K and to be honest we thought that Dr Strange was the best movie and I don't mean picture quality, for me it was nice to actually follow a film with a great story rather than just constant CGI like the other films, it was certainly a great introduction to a Super Hero and I think more films will come with this character especially as Iron Man/Captain America have now finished, Benedict Cumberbatch is a fine actor and this movie shows it. My only gripe is that it didn't produce a great soundtrack unlike the other Marvel films in fact only Shining Star from Earth Wind & Fire was the only one. Great film with a magnificent cast to match. Buy it.

We just love Doctor Strange! I would say buy any superhero move! You can't miss!
