    While not a necessary upgrade, the uptick in detail and visual pop is nice. The audio track lost a little bit of punch from the blu-ray.

    Doctor Strange is played very well by Benedict Cumberbatch. He takes a journey from being a really unlikeable character to a changed and more likeable person by the end of the film. He learns that he is not the center of the universe and that he can be caring for the needs of others. Tilda Swinton does a fine job as a teacher and leader in a strange universe of different dimensions and realms. There is magic and, of course, bad or evil persons and beings. Major and minor roles in the film are handled well by the actors. The action moves right along and the special effects are unusual and effective. The 3D adds to the film; however, I also saw it in 2D. Either way would be fine for this film. All in all, I found the film enjoyable and entertaining. I look forward to seeing the further adventures of Doctor Strange.
