What an amazing Blu Ray to own looks amazing!!!!!!

This is a great movie, lots of fun for the family!

... IT WAS A MILDLY ENTERTAINING MOVIE , IT WAS LACKING SUBSTANCE, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS AN ORIGIN MOVIE TO TIE INTO OTHERS, IT WAS OK.

This movie was captivating and kept our attention.

Great movie in Marvel universe. And filler for 50.

This is a good movie but I must admit I enjoyed it more after watching the character development of Dr. Strange in Avengers Infinity War.

Good start for Doctor Strange in the Marvel movie universe. They didn't take too many liberties with his origin, and the changes that were made were pretty sensible. Benedict was perfect for the part, and the other actors were brilliant with they respective roles. Great psychedelic visuals in this film (as they should be for Dr. Strange), and this is one movie in particular that really benefits from 3D. The 3D Blu ray looks incredible - Admittedly viewed on a gorgeous 75 inch LG 4K set. (Note - It's just a regular 3D, and there's no specific benefit from playing this on a 4K TV other than the general quality of the screen). The 3D version of this Blu Ray has become quite hard to find (Flippin' Disney again!), so my recommendation is to grab a copy of this while you can.

Another fun chapter of the MCU epic. However, to fully appreciate the special effects, Marvel should’ve pushed for a 4K edition.

I am Marvel fan but not too hardcore. I played with the action figures, read a few of the comics, and watched some of the cartoons when I was a kid. I have seen pretty much all of the live action Marvel movies that have been made and enjoyed most of them. I did not really know much about Dr. Strange before I watched the movie, so I could not tell you if he is similar to the character from the comics. The movie was one of my favorite comic book character movies that has been released. Special effects are very well done, really like how the characters were written. Would I put it in my top ten of all time, no way, but I would put it in the top 5 Marvel/DC movies that has been made. Steelbook is a cool case. Not the smooth matte finish but raised designed finished to it.

dr strange starts a bit like Sherlock, arrogant & a pain, but benedict is so good at this & you still like him. then he becomes the mystic. fun action, fun alternate marvel universe. sad to see the ancient one pass on so soon, but... strange is left to take her place? figure out what to do next. interesting teaser w/strange and thor. sort of like when Sherlock is cking out Watson & Mary's wedding guests and he's grilling a friend of Mary's who has a crush on her. only thor is thor: funny scene. i liked the humor in the movie. it isn't dark or too serious. liked the way the cloak is protective and yet hey... like capt kirk telling dr McCoy to stop fussing. I like ant man a lot coz it's fresh & doesn't take itself seriously at all. neither can mr dr strange, I liked that

I must be honest I didn’t know a thing about Dr. Strange except it was a marvel movie... I read amazing reviews and the movie was on sale so I decided to take a chance. I can’t tell you how great I thought this movie was. Maybe it’s because I had no expectations going into it. I loved though that it had more of a Harry Potter feel to it then a comic book character movie. I was completely surprised with how good this movie was and was pleasantly surprised as it had a refreshing feel after watching so many comic book character movies in recent years. Now I even think it’s worth the full 35, much more than the terminator I paid full price for...

Dr Strange in 3D is still #2 as far as 3D Quality in Marvels Collection of films. So far Ant Man is #1 in 3D out of all Marvel Movies. And its a close call between Dr Strange and Avengers Age of Ultron. With all Marvel movies I have Collected since the beginning I have noticed a hit and miss with 3D Quality. The first Avengers though my favorite in Blu Ray lacked completely in 3D. As for entertainment, Dr Stange was very good and well worth adding to your Marvel collection. Thus far the best 3D movies I Own are Ant Man, Transformers Age of Extinction, and Avatar. Fright Night had some great effects and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was pretty cool too. But it's hard to beat the old fashion 3D. I remember Jaws in 3D at the theater. And that was out of this world.

One of the best special effects movie with a great plot. Mcu got it right with this movie and I hope a sequel is in the works.

Movie is okay. Character is good though especially in the Avengers films. Must see as it relates to the overall saga.

I had my doubts when I first sat down to watch Doctor Strange. I love Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock, but I always have my doubts when they cast a big name in such a well-loved role. I thought it went terribly wrong when they cast him as Kahn, so I approached this movie with a fair amount of skepticism to say the least. I am happy to say that I have come out of the experience pleasantly surprised. Cumberbatch did a great job with the role of Steven Strange, and the supporting cast was also fantastic. As for the Blu-ray edition: There are no problems with playback, and both the video and the sound quality are excellent. I have to admit that I rarely watch extras, so I would not be the person to speak as to their quality or even quantity.

The special effects in this movie are very good. The plot is fairly typical, but the scientific elements are interesting.

I won't get into the plot of Dr. Strange since its fun to watch it unfold. I will admit that I wondered if it was actually possible to convey the comic book magic into film and this movie did it and surpassed my expectations. I couldn't think of a better actor than Benedict Cumberbatch to play the fun ego of Strange. The movie takes some short cuts with the plot (it's a comic book film) and what it lacks with the details, it makes up with visuals. I had seen this movie in the theater in 3D but seeing it at home on my 3D was a treat for the eyes. The scene where Strange first experiences the alternate dimension(s) is mind blowing in 3D. Even if you don't have a 3D television, this movie is still a visual feast and entertaining.

This is a very neat movie. Definitely different from the other Marvel movies. Picked it up on BluRay for my collection.

Glad that this film finally came out on 4k with a steelbook to add to the collection. Great 4k audio and video.

Doctor Strange is a unique movie that has the distinction of also calling itself a Marvel movie. After Dr Steven Strange is injured in an accident he searches out powers in this world to help him overcome his own physical shortcomings. The concepts and the special effects are amazing and this movie really stands up well on it's own as just a great movie outside of the Marvel universe. The movie looks amazing in 4K (or rather its upconverted 2K) with HDR. A Movies Anywhere code is also included allowing you to stream the film in up to Dolby Vision, should you have the necessary hardware.
