This right here will blow your socks off. Now don’t get me wrong the best version of this is the 3d omg. But this 4K version is outstanding. It’s very detailed plus the Dolby vision and hdr brings those colors to life. This here is a must have if your a marvel fan and a collector.

Doctor Strange is one of the better Marvel superhero movies, and does some really innovative things with the 3D format that elevates its quality. Rather than just throwing a few pop-out effects at the viewer, the 3D effects really kick into gear when the characters start using magic, which heightens the effect for the viewer. If possible, definitely watch it in 3D. Even though some of the supporting characters are somewhat underbaked and Doctor Strange's character arc is more than a little reminiscent of Tony Stark's arc in the first Iron Man, Benedict Cumberbatch sells it, as does Tilda Swinton.

When I first saw the trailers for this movie I was not excited. One day I was at the movies looking for something to see and I decided to give Doctor Strange a chance. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. It reminded me of Iron Man 1. Doctor Strange is Tony Stark-like. The effects in the movie are pretty awesome so I highly suggest this movie for that point alone.

This movie was very entertaining. It was so enjoyable that I nearly cried, like when a lot of women cried at the end of Sleepless in Seattle, a happy release of tears to relieve the built up tension. Only I didn't cry, because although the love story portion of the film was almost believable, the special effects were fantastic, but not so much so that I wanted to cry.

I am not familiar with the comic "Dr. Strange" but this is a good movie, not as good as "Winter Solider" or "Civil War" but it is a good movie. The Blu-Ray has a commentary by director Scott Derrickson and great special features. There are seven different featurettes and a short story featuring Thor. There are also deleted scenes and a gag reel if you are interested.

This is the perfect addition to any marvel collection. Doctor Strange joins the MCU in a spectacular reality shifting film. It sets the stage for Stephen Strange to figure out his place in the world and figure out how he will fit in along side the avengers. This steelbook holds the discs with one of the most precious pieces in the marvel universe the eye of agamotto.

A cornucopia of philosophy, enlightenment and what we as human beings are capable of transcending beyond the confines of the world around us if we are willing to open our minds to the unknown. This of course is an interpretation of Stan Lee's vision, but he always makes you think outside the box and this is what makes this movie so entertaining. A definite must see!

I love the Marvel Movies, there's no getting around that point. Doctor Strange is another great blend of comedy, action, and redemption. Sure, that formula has been done by Marvel before (many many times), but it's always fun to watch. The visuals in this movie are great and MUST be seen in High Def. I'll be buying this one again when it's inevitably released in 4K

This is a reference quality video presentation that looks great on Blu-ray. Shot in high definition, images have a rich dynamic quality that highlights its near flawless rendering of detail. The video has excellent dimension with smooth rendering and defining clarity. Great action sequences with an epic style plot and solid performances make this film fun to watch.

Marvel can do no wrong. Never in a million years did I think they would have been able to pull off Dr. Strange in a major motion picture and my worst fear was that it would be some sort of Harry Potter clone. Thankfully I was wrong and this movie stands well alongside all the other Marvel movies that preceded it. I should learn to stop doubting Marvel at this point.

Obviously you probably know whether you like the movie or not by now. It's a Marvel movie and they're consistently good. They also do a good job with the 3D conversions and this movie is no exception. In fact it's one of the better ones to see in 3D as the format really helps draw you into the tripy visuals. If you can, the 3D blu-ray is the way to watch this movie.

I've already seen the movie in the theater last year, but Best Buy has certain movies that would get these exclusive steelbook cases that have a Blu-ray disc, DVD, sometimes special discs, etc. I believe these are worth paying a bit more that the regular plastic cases and the steelbook cases would last longer and protect the discs better. My opinion, of course. :)

Didn't know a lot about this movie before purchasing it but since it was a Marvel movie I figured I'd enjoy it and I did. Lots of action and some very nice special effects. Will need to watch it again to get the entire gist of the movie. If you own a 3d tv be sure to buy the 3d version of this movie.If you're a fan of Marvel Movies I think you'll enjoy this movie.

In the beginning of the movie I was amazed how the special effects in 3d look and I'll tell you, it was amazing to had experience what can be done on computer to make it appear into our homes. The movie I like I wish it was a bit longer and more details but in the end it shows their will be a Part 2 in the making so I'm anxious to see how the movie will turn out.

There is so much that could have gone wrong with this movie. Instead, it is perfectly cast, has a great story that could have been a lot stranger, and it all comes together with great effects. It is one of the less child friendly Marvel movies. There is impaling and a few curse words and it can get quite intense at times. Younger ones may be a little intimidated.

The sorcerer supreme never lets one down, In this spell binding saga that was brought to life via cinema took me back to my days of youth when I would hurry home to read one of my many collection of Marvel Comics. Did not fail in originality nor casting. An excellent film and I hope that we have several more as in trilogy, can you say. Stan Lee Reigns supreme.

I wasn't a huge fan of this movie at first. But I liked the Steelbook and I needed it to complete the Marvel collection. So I picked it up. The 4k is insane in this. It looks amazing. And now that I've rewatched it, I enjoy it more. It has become one of my favorites and I can't wait for the sequel.

A Great addition to the Marvel World! It goes in a different direction, into the spirit world as opposed to the physical world of the Avengers. I got it in 3D - Of Course!! DON'T STREAM!! Support DVD/Blu-Ray. If you love the movie, you want a hard copy in your hand, as opposed to depending on someone elses server!! Support 3D!! It's a Fantastic format!!!!

Visual Effects Where Outstanding. The Story Of Dr. Strange Being So Arrogant About His Capability's As A Surgeon. Then Having It All Taken Away. Was Good Showing How He Would Give Anything To Have Them Back At Any Price, But Finding Out That He Could Ether Be His Old Self Or He Could Use His New Powers To Help All Of Mankind With No Recognition Was His Test.

I'm a old fan of all things comic book based, even though they didn't completely follow the original Dr. strange characters, there's enough to get the story going.. This is a well done nonstop fantasy that captures the original artwork concepts from the comic book I can't really point anything that I thought was ever bad, but I love almost all these movies.
