I had the pleasure of seeing a pre screening of this movie in NYC. This is one of the bet of all the Marvel movies, and it certainly isn't even one of the top 20 best Marvel comics characters. You have to see it if you love the Marvel movies, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, the movie Inception, and even Rachel McAdams impressed. Great flick.

This movie is for MARVEL fans and people that can go into a movie with an open mind. If you do not know a lot about Doctor Strange it might seem weird to you. I saw this movie in 3D because it was filmed a lot different than other 3D movies. You will not get the same result watching in the standard format. The 3D camera angles give you a feeling of how the two worlds shift throughout the movie. With the standard version it makes it look like just another action movie with special effects. Fans that are not into MARVEL need to see the 3D version if you have a 3D tv.

He's gifted, he's a talented surgeon, he's a self centered and flawed character. Did that angle draw me fully into yet another super hero movie? Amazingly, yes it did and to marvelous effect. Watching this snowball gather momentum was a refreshing ride. The story outshines the effects which is saying something. Definitely would watch this again.

Very visual movie. For those unfamiliar with Dr. Strange this is the origin of Dr. Strange along with his adventure. Was not a big Dr. Strange reader as a kid...more the action guys...Thor,Iron Man,Hulk etc. But I really enjoyed the movie. Cumberbatch was a perfect choice for the lead role.

The lesser known hero Dr Strange makes a great debut in this film. The visuals are great and the story also. I picked up the BluRay 3D version after seeeing it in the theater and it looks just as good. The use of 3D is great without appearing too gimmicky. It has more of a serious tone so it's probably not your typical super hero movie for kids.

Some people prefer steaming, but not me. There's a reason why I bought a 4k TV and UHD player. This action packed movie shines with all the special effects and mystical fighting scenes. I'm a Marvel fan so I guess I'm a bit biased, but I still recommend it to all.

Another great 4K transfer for the Marvel Cinematic universe. Cool exclusive steelbook. Like this movie but one of my least favorite Marvel Cinematic universe films.

Dr.Strange is one character I don't think you should mess with. He comes off as very arrogant, self serving, & pompass. You wouldn't think his ego could get any bigger, but somehow does. After his horrible crash, he decides to go west & enhance his knowledge. Fighting the forces of good & evil, he becomes one power you don't want to mess with.

I must admit I am not a huge super hero fan, although I do have a few favorites, but I must say that this 3d blu-ray of Doctor Strange is not only an enjoyable movie, but the 3d version of this will knock your socks off. I have over 50 3d movies for my projection system, and by far this is my new go to disc to show it off. Highly recommended.

I was wary of Dr. Strange, but after seeing it in theaters with the strong cast and amazing VFX, I had to snag this BB exclusive steelbook, I mean it has the Eye of Agmatto on the cover. Good bonus features too and the movie does a great job of expanding on the "mystical/magic" side of the MCU. A must buy, even if you are not a big comic fan.

I enjoy nearly every marvel film but mostly for the fun and effects. While doctor strange excels in both it also adds a deeper character study than perhaps any other film. Iron Man might be the only more flushed out character emotionally and he has a half dozen films. Also the 3D is good at the worst parts and mind blowing at the best parts.

the character's were well picked to play the rolls they were asked to play, also the story line was well scripted. I thought they could have expounded on the relationship with Cumberbatch and McAdams a little bit more also why the ancient one saw so much potential in Strange? other than that it was right in line with the origin of the hero .

Really love the steelbooks and Doctor Strange with the Blu-ray, DVD, & digital download copy is the perfect setup. Hope it doesn't change because then I wouldn't be able to get the steelbooks anymore. The case keep the discs safe and secure. You worry less when packing and moving that the discs will get scratched, cracked or the case broken.

Great addition to the MCU! I didn't get to catch the movie at a theatre, but it was still great on the home theatre system. Great movie, great story, great action, great characters. This movie will definitely get repeated plays at the case. Let me erase any doubts to those who have yet to see it...STOP READING AND GO PURCHASE THIS MOVIE!!!

If you are a steelbook collector then this is a great steelbook to add to your collection. It's definitely a movie that deserves the extra money for the steelbook. It also has inner artwork. The only problem (and its a killer for some people) there is no movie title on the spine. The spine issue is really disappointing but I can overlook it

Originally saw this at the movie theater. Later saw Infinity Wars and Endgame. Amazing how much more sense the entire Marvel Universe makes when going back and seeing Dr. Strange and again seeing Infinity Wars and Endgame. SteelBook case is really nice addition to my DVD Collection.

As someone who was going superhero fatigue I was a little skeptical about this movie as it's not as well known. When I watched the movie I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this movie. The special effects, acting and storyline is interesting and entertaining and the blu ray and 3D is gorgeous. I would highly recommend this film.

I saw this movie in the theater. Loved it so much that I wanted it in the collector's steelbook edition. Another super job by the Marvel Cinematic Universe bringing one of their superheroes to life. Visually stunning and masterful performances by Benedict Cumberbatch and the rest of the cast. Highly recommended! Watch past the end credits.

One of the better Marvel Cinematic Universes (MCU) Movies. Definitely opens up the Mystic realm of the MCU. The Steelcase exclusive from Best Buy is nice. The steelcase resembles a spell book with The Eye of Agamotto (which is central to the movie as well as the MCU since it's one of the Infinity Stones) embossed on the front is top notch.

This movie does a good job to explain who the Dr. Strange is and how he becomes who he is. The storyline is consistent with what's in the comics and well transferred to the big screen. The 3D effect does not really improve the movie much overall, so a regular blue-ray should be good enough. But I am glad that I brought the 3D version too.
