I have not received the item but I went to the movies to see it and it's a very good movie if your into the superhero genre

I really enjoyed the movie. I buy most of my movies from Best Buy because the have good customer servvice and good prices

Doctor Strange good movie and I’m waiting to see what they are going to do to n the next movie.

This is probably the most different and 'out there' entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and yet it still manages to fill connected and familiar to the overall world they have built. Cumberbatch is fantastic in the lead role and the visual effects are some of the best that have been but to screen thus far.

The packaging on this 3D Blu-ray is a huge step up from previous Marvel 3D releases, and I hope this trend continues in future releases! The slipcover is made of plastic with a clear cut-out showing off the backside of one of the Blu-ray/DVD discs inside, helping to create an image of a glowing portal behind Strange. The combo pack comes with a nice lenticular, making for a nice bonus add-on. The 3D in the movie itself is also stunning and really add to the experience, especially in some of the more mind-bending, trippy scenes. If you're debating between the 2D and 3D versions of this movie, take my advice and pay the extra $$ for the 3D version. You won't regret it!

Had the opportunity to see this movie in theaters when it was released and happy to say I was amazed by it. The visual effects and the story line was just phenomenal. Definitely recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it yet and can't wait for the collectible steelbook!

The story is a reformat of Iron Man but seeing Benedict Cumberbatch's acting made this an enjoyable ride, so looking forward to seeing Strange meet Iron Man in a future film to see who is more arrogant. As for the blu-ray, I usually go with 3D releases from Marvel as the packaging is different and looks better and with this beauty, the included litograph is stunning and still finding a nice spot to portray it. The previous slip covers were cardboard but this one is plastic, again love it. Since I picked this up with the Nintendo Switch I haven't checked out the special features and transfer. Eventually...

Doctor Strange is a visually spell-binding (no pun intended) movie, and this steelbook is a perfect visual complement for the movie's aesthetics. The design is based off the magical tomes shown in the movie, with the Eye of Agamotto on the cover. Although the case could use a little more embossing/debossing, the case is still visually striking. The metallic sheen of the borders create a sense of brushed bronze, while the multi-colored swirl centered on the Eye creates a vortex of mystical energy. All in all, a highly recommended purchase for fans of Doctor Strange and steelbooks alike!

I had very high expectations, so i was a touch disappointed with the movie. But it's so a good movie, well worth the watch. I just don't know if I'll watch it more than once every few years. It had some humerous moments, but i guess I've been spoiled by iron man, avengers, and deadpool. I started disliking strange, but i did end up rooting for and liking him at the end. So, i guess the writers succeeded. However, i felt the ending came very abruptly and i felt it needed more development of his role and how he takes on the mantle of leadership. I feel the mind bending gyrations of the environments almost too much and ate up way more of the cgi budget than it deserved. I wanted to see more of what strange himself could do. It felt much of the magic was being done around and to him than him casting spells and getting his MOJO on. Guess that's for the sequel. I'd recommend it, but maybe as a rental. Fun for the marvel fan, but i can't see my wife or children enjoying it.

Love the design of this steelbook. The embossing on the front looks really nice. Just a word of warning to those who prefer their steelbooks to have the title on the spine and the front cover: this case has neither. The movie title appears nowhere on the case, and is made to resemble the ancient books seen in the movie. Doesn't bother me, but I know some people hate this.

While it has the same trope as the first Iron Man movie (man goes through self-reflection and evolution after experiencing a life-changing moment), the story still works. Marvel keeps up the individual origin story of how Dr. Strange goes from being a well-renowned surgeon to learning the mystical arts and becoming a sorcerer worthy of the Marvel Universe. The CG is well-done and the characters all play their parts well. In general, a good action movie involving magic. Recommended.

After watching this movie in 2D, I knew I had to watch it again in 3D. I got lucky and my wife watched with me. She never watches movies for very long and stayed for the entire 3D version of this movie. The 3D visual effects were just simply amazing. The clarity on the facial expressions were intense.

I just saw this in the theater. I'm ordering the DVD immediately. Perhaps too intense for my kids but this needs to be in my collection.
