Marvel knocks it out of the park again with the latest addition to the MCU, Dr. Strange. The story of Earth's Sorcerer Supreme adds a great new character with an amazing actor, and Benedict Cumberbatch is a welcome addition to the already stellar cast in the MCU. Enjoy the ride, and stay tuned after the credits for extra scenes!

Best intro movie for a character so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Incredibly trippy, with a great story. The 4K steelbook also looks pretty good. Love the uniformity of these 4K release steelbooks. Lools amazing in the higher resolution as well.

Overall I felt Dr Strange was a great addition to the Marvel Universe. Good origin story, although it follows very familiar plot points. The real meat of the film comes from when he gets to meet the Ancient One and the move just goes full forward from there. Blu ray has some great features on it as well. Well worth checking out.

I don't currently have a 3D-enabled television or Blu-Ray player, but I wanted to "future-proof" my enjoyment of this film. The amazing visuals look fantastic on the HD screen. This special edition has tons of great extras. Look for the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 3 preview, and the Team Thor 2 short firm is especially awesome.

I thoroughly enjoy the MCU movies anyway, though some more than others. I also like Benedict Cumberbatch and neither he nor this movie disappoints. The acting is perfect, the story is engaging, and the visual are spectacular. Highly recommend even if you haven't seen the other movies as you will still be able to follow this easily.

Bestbuy's Doctor Strange Steelbook comes with some nice unique artwork and embossing detail. My only gripe would be that the steel's color and appearance would pop a lot more if a glossy finish was chosen over the matte. Oh, and the movie was pretty good. Very Marvel-esque in terms of mood and storytelling but still a fun watch.

Doctor strange is a good origin story adapted for the MCU. While I always miss the old days where bonus features were two hour documentaries on two disks, this offers some nice glimpses. Collecting Marvel steelbooks like I do, this one ranks on par with Thor the Dark World. Matt finish with no gloss. Still a solid collector's item.

Dr. Strange was one of the less known Marvel Characters, despite being one of the most powerful, and this movie does a wonderful job introducing him to the world. Fun movie with a decent villain, the end 'battle' might disappoint but fits well with the characters style of intelligence over strength. Definitely worth a watch!

Dr. Strange is another hero movie, following Thor and Captain America and Antman, which expands and enhances the Marvel universe. Not as light hearted as Antman, the visual effects are impressive and enhance the story without replacing plot or character development. Benedict plays the troubled medical doctor turned Sorcerer Supreme, and should be interesting during interaction with other Marvel heroes in future movies. Dormamu, the villain,could be an interesting add-on villain to future Avenger movies. Well worth buying and enjoying at home.

I don't really follow comic book culture, just the movies. So, when I saw Marvel was doing a movie on a character I wasn't familiar with, I thought I'd give it a chance based off their past movies. I'm glad I did! Doctor Strange was a great movie with great acting and great effects. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!

We love the Marvel Universe, and Dr. Strange has now joined in the movie saga. We love how all the characters are intertwined and you can piece them together, yet each movie stands alone as well. This installment was thrilling and action packed, without neglecting humor. We've watched it several times and it hasn't gotten old.

The casting of Benedict Cumberbatch was a top choice for the character. The plot has been called a touch formulaic, because his backstory matches a few ways with the Iron Man/Tony Stark origin. I would argue this is because a couple of heroes in comics overlap back in the early creative years for the Marvel Comics company. It's not a bad thing. They are dissimilar as well. For example, Iron Man didn't seek enlightenment on this path. The special effects are tops and the casting worked well for the story the filmmakers told. Enjoy!

Where the earlier Marvel Universe movies dealt with super heroes who were based in Science and technology, this one is based in Magic and the Occult. Not completely my "cup 'o tea", but it was fun to watch, and the special effects are terrific (even if a bit confusing and overwhelming at times.) Benedict Cumberbatch is quite convincing in the title role and Tilda Swinto is always interesting to watch, and Mads Mikkelson makes such a wonderful villain. Very enjoyable movie and I look forward to seeing this charfacter again.

I missed out on getting the original Doctor Strange steelbook a few years ago, but this new one is actually cooler, in my opinion. It's one of the best Marvel movies and the art on the steelbook does it justice. I was happy it came with both the blu ray and the 4k version.

I purchased the 3D Blu ray and the visuals are stunning! This was made for 3D and I highly recommend you add to your collection. I'm a fan of the Marvel movies and cannot wait to see how this incorporates into the near future with other Marvel characters and we know which one is next but I'm not telling. Get your own copy today!

This is my first 3D movie I watched on the 3D tv and home theater system I bought concurrently with the Blu-ray. A true psychedelic adventure. The superhero genre speaks volumes to me as I was very fond of the comic books of 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's and Marvel has done an incredible job delivering the books to the big screen.

I buy most of my movies here just so I can get the steelbooks. And this one is a great looking one. The movie is excellent as well! The visual effects in this one were second to none, and look even better in 3D. The Blu-Ray edition of this makes it look even better as well. Another great Marvel movie to add to the collection!

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO WATCH ANY MARVEL CINAMATIC UNIVERSE MOVIE IS IN 4K. AND AS ANY MARVEL FAN KNOWS DR. STRANGE IS UP AT THE TOP OF THE LIST...I AM TELLING EVERYBODY THAT HAS A 4K SETUP SHOULD SEE THIS ONE AND ALL MARVEL MOVIES.ALL MUST SEES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent version. I went for the 3D, because my LG pushes it to near 4K. I plan on watching the UHD HDR streamed version for a comparison. I won't go into plot blah blah blah. Suffice it to say this will be my favorite until Wonder Woman 3D IMAX is released.

A wonderful addition to the Marvel Universe. Benedict Cumberbatch and the entire cast does a superb job bringing this new facet of the Universe to the big screen. The movie combines the seriousness of good and evil, levity, and the character growth of Dr. Stephen Strange well. I have enjoyed watching this movie more than once.
