Another great Marvel movie, Doctor Strange continues the marvel universe with this conceptual firework. It explores areas not yet seen in the Marvel universe continuing phase 3. It is a must watch for any comic book movie fan, as well it has probably one of the best looking steelbooks to come out this year.

Imagine my surprise, instead of the usual frenetic (and boring) non-stop action from the start, in finding a (relatively) slow-burn character development and lots of sly, self-deprecating humor. And fine acting to boot. And of course eventually lots of action and hyper-cgi. Best movie of its kind in ages.

This is a review of the 3D steel book version of the Dr. Strange movie from Marvel. I was hoping the packaging would be a bit cooler. IF you collect steel books, then it's a no brainer. If you think this looks like a really cool steelbook cover from the pictures, well, it is slightly raised, but otherwise not that impressive. The other 3D cover actually looks cooler (subjective of course) and if you store your blu ray's when not watching them, like most people, then the regular version of the cover is fine.

Marvel has had some high high's and low Mid's (No Lows) with the quality of their movies since Iron Man. This is the former. Dr. Strange was a wonderful combination of action, fun and mystique as it tells the story of a man of science and his journey to become a man of magic. Definitely worth a viewing.

Dr. Strange is not your usual superhero. But remains a familiar character in the Marvel universe. Cumberbatch is excellent as Dr. Strange, Revealing both the mystic and the human conflicts that come with this reality. The Special effects are fantastic, they alone make watching this picture worth it. Enjoy!

For a little known and slightly obscure hero Doctor Strange is a fantastic outing. Much like Guardians of the Galaxy was all about introducing us to a new world, this movie digs even deeper into the Marvel lore. It is a must have if you plan to follow the overall story arc of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As an avid film collector, I really enjoy building my library as much as I can with Best Buy Steel Book Edition copies. Best Buy's Steel Book cases are very durable, remarkably attractive and easier than plastic to keep dust free. As for this film itself, it's a Marvel release so of course it is marvelous!

As far as introductory movies go in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this is one of the best. Most of the other "origin story" movies like this try to cram so much into the character building that they forget they're making a stand alone movie. I think they did a better job with this movie. Special effects were great, the cloak of levitation was a nice bit a comic relief, and I enjoyed the story. Nothing extraordinary or different here in terms of story telling, just more of the same from the Marvel movies.

Dr. Strange is a beloved Marvel character and Benedict Cumberbatch was a great casting choice. His American accent is weird at times and the movie seems more psychedelic then magical. Still, this is a classic film that introduces a very powerful force to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Kelly's Heroes and Duck you Sucker (aka a Fist full of Dynamite) are 2 classic films I've been fortunate to have seen when they were on the movie screen and then on TV. Adding them to my Blu Ray collection is a joy as both titles have been restored so I can re live viewing them as if they were just made.

Inventive new concept how the world works. 4k is great for the special effect. The story is engaging and fun. Very well acted and engaging. If you like sci-fi you will love this. The paranormal is investigated.

Dr. Strange was one of the few MCU films I had no care or anticipation for. Though it was expected, I was still surprised with how much more enthralling this film was compared to the origin installments previously done with other characters such as Captain America & Ant Man. The visuals were so stimulating & the entertainment factor was also hefty. I could not believe I got more laughs in during this film than I did with the comedic-lead of Rudd in Ant Man. My only regret is not watching Strange in 3D.

I didn't know anything about Dr. Strange. I have watched it twice, love the character as well as the mystical side of The Avengers. Tilda Swinton is perfect as the Ancient One. And the extras are interesting ... 7 lambos, really? Don't miss the two teasers in the credits. The one with Thor is hilarious.

It's a really well done movie with stunningly talented actors. Marvel has been on a live action roll these past few years and this one is no exception! I love the story (though awfully close to Iron Man) and the visual effects are second to none! Can't wait to see Strange in more Marvel Universe movies!

Disney bringing one of Marvel's lesser known characters to life with stunning visuals and good action sequences. Basing the movie around the Time (Infinity) Stone is a great prelude to MCU's Infinity Wars and can't wait to see Benedict Cumberbatch bring Dr. Strange to life once again on the big screen.

My wife hates to watch movies as she always falls asleep, but she was mesmerized by the 3D version of this movie. The graphics kept her intrigued and glued to the screen. She was able to stay awake and entertained for the entire duration of this movie. If she enjoyed it, then it is a must-see movie.

The story seems short after the intro of how he became Dr. Strange, that's the downside for how a character gains his power. The cast is good, the plot also mesmerizing and great final final fight scene. I can't wait for the second Dr. Strange.

Dr. Strange is a different kind of Marvel movie. The plot runs along familiar patterns for an origin story, but it never feels like a retread. The visuals are fantastic and worth the price just on their own. As usual, for Marvel, great supporting actors. Interesting origin for a future villain as well.

Dr. Strange is a departure from the norm of Marvel films. It dives into the mystical arts and the multiverse, drastically increasing the scope of the MCU. The film is filled with humor, intense and mesmerizing action sequences, and a great story that offers a great introduction to the Sorcerer Supreme.

I was a little skeptical of this movie before going to the theater to watch it, and I love most of the MCU movies so far. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie - Benedict does a great acting job so getting the movie on disc was a no-brainer for me - even more so when I can get Blu-ray+DVD+Digital all in one!
