All whitewashing aside, this is by far the most cerebral Marvel movie to date. The visual effects are seamless and contribute instead of detract from the experience. As the usually there isn't enough character development in one movie so hopefully we see a few more Doctor Strange movies in the future.

The steelbook Blu-ray is awesome! I love the film, and the steelbook design, Art, texture, and all that, is nothing short of exactly what I want. If you are able to find any copies of this 3-D Doctor Strange steelbook, GET IT. For any collector, this is a gem that doesn't come around every day. Thanks!

My sons really enjoyed the magic and action of this movie, it's hard to please all of them. I was sad that Best Buy was out of the 3D when we purchased the Blu-Ray. I would advise getting it in 3D! My sons and I have watched it multiple times. Not for smaller children, it wouldn't hold their interest.

Doctor Strange is one of my favorite Marvel films. I found it to compare to Guardians of the galaxy in that it was about a character that I wasn't that aware of. The movie has a good story, characters and the effects are standout. I look forward to seeing more of the Doctor in the future Marvel films.

Doctor Strange succeeds largely on its insane, drug-fueled visuals, making up for its rather standard plot and less-than-compelling turn by Cumberbatch (I blame the lack of his natural accent). The story is essentially the arc from the original Iron Man, with the villain of Thor: The Dark World playing a similar end-the-world-to-save-it scheme. But the characters are witticisms (despite some jokes that fall so flat you can actually hear them thud) are endearing enough to keep the viewer interested.

I'm a huge fan of Best Buy's steel book editions. They are great quality and very fun to own for fans. I already have IP Man and the entire set of Star Wars movies in Best Buy's steel book format. I'm a huge fan of Dr. Strange and this one definitely lives up to the quality and design that I expected.

Marvel is really in it's zone/stride/whatever. Like many comic fans, I was a bit concerned about the casting of the great Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One. Those fears were quickly tossed aside as the entire cast did an amazing job of translating Lee and Ditko's amazing worlds of of the astral plane.

Dr. Strange was a real treat in theaters, with it's great effects and spectacular action scenes. On Blu-ray, the film sparkles and looks just as great at home. Sound is also quite solid. Bonus features are a tad brief but very well done, as is usually the case with Marvel. A must-own for Marvel fans!

Here again is another Marvel (ous) movie that willl not let you down. I loved all the graphics and again, another great cast. Story line draws you in very quickly, but hold on to your seat if you are afraid of heights, so real, so very real. If you love fantasy, magic, etc, this movie is for you.

I really like the Marvel Steelbooks that Best Buy carries. It looks really nice on the shelf. The inside packaging looks like pages of the book with a bunch of crazy drawings and such. The movie was also very good. I can't wait for Doctor Strange to team up with Iron Man in the next Avengers movie.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this BB exclusive 3d steelbook and it exceeded my expectations. The 3d effects in this movie are amazing. This just may be the best 3d movie I have seen in terms of the 3d effects. If you have a 3d tv I feel this movie is a must own just for the 3d effects alone.

Dr. Strange is awesome with fantastic 3D. However, the transfer Disney utilized for the 3D disc is defective because the picture moves and black bars appear, coming and going, on all sides throughout the duration of the film. I took the disc back and got a replacement, and the same issue was present.

Had to keep up to date with all the super hero movies. This is the latest one. I really did not know anything about Doctor Strange, before I saw this movie. Now I know a little more about this character. Very well done. A little slow at first. But it got better. A lot of action. It was a great movie.

Marvel can't do wrong. They are releasing great comic book movies every year & no sight in stopping. We are living in the golden era of comic book movies & hopefully they stay at it. I saw this without being familiar to the characters & at the end of the movie, I became a fan of it. Thank you Marvel!

Ever since the Doctor Strange cartoon movie that came out years ago, I've been a fan of the character. And with this movie, I'm an even bigger fan. They did a wonderful job with the special effects, and watching it in 3D made it even more realistic. Great movie!!! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Although the general plot of Dr. Strange is more than a little reminiscent of the first Iron Man movie, it is still an entertaining film with excellent action sequences, good acting and a nice mix of drama and humor. Benedict Cumberbatch does a good job with the titular character's gradual change from brilliant but arrogant jerk to upstanding hero. I picked up the 3D BluRay edition and the depth and pop were quite good as the film took advantage of the medium and was photographed with 3D in mind.

I was getting more and more excited about this movie the closer it was to theatrical release. I went to the theaters to see it and it was really good. So I bought the blu ray as soon as it came out and the extras are pretty good that comes with it. This is a must have for all marvel fans collection!

Saw a preview of this movie at Disneyworld, and the graphics were astonishing! So excited to see it at the theatre, and thrilled to own a Blu Ray DVD copy to view at home. Not only are the graphics stunning each time I watch the movie, but the plot and characters hold interest with repeated viewing.

A very interesting Marvel story. Benedict Cumberbatch was the choice of the director from the git-go and waited 6 months for his availability and he filled the part extremely well. Excellent blu-ray presentation. Obviously, a 4k would have been better. Sound was excellent too along with superb CG's.
