Dr. Strange was one of my favorite comics I read in the 60's. Way back when , there was a movie "Dr. Strange" which was OK, but this time it was done up right. Only problem was "The Ancient One" was a woman in this film. But that's OK. I still love watching this film.

This 4K edition is fantastic! Looks and sounds better than ever. The HDR is very noticeable over the Blu-ray and is a joy to watch. Colors pop and wow throughout. Pick this one up with no worries. Highly recommended.

Not as strong or as good as other Marvel movies but still worth a watch. Would recommend but would pick up if only on sale.

Love the Marvel Universe. This movie and character still remain one of my favorites. Was hoping the 4K Ultra upgrade would be another true step advice bluray version

Great movie with great acting. Yes, it's the typical Marvel origins story, but Benedict Cumberbatch and Mads Mikkelsen are great actors and fun to watch. Special effects are top notch as well along with a good blend of humor and drama. Definitely worth seeing!

We saw this originally at the theater in 2d and loved it. Was not expecting that, but it is a build up in the ongoing 3rd phase of the marvel movies. I bought the 3d version since we have an Benq 1075 projector that does awesome 3d. It does not disapoint. Recomended to all.

Marvel Studios has done it yet again, by bringing another of their characters to life on the big screen. This time its Doctor Strange. Benedict Cumberbatch puts in a great performance as the titular character in a story that not only tells the origin of the character, but also neatly finds its place into the overarching cinematic universe being built. You cant watch just one of these movies anymore, you have to watch them all. And that's not a bad thing.

Interesting plot with nice character development. The special effects steal the show , however. The 3D effects were over the top & kept me NOT regretting my 3D tv and player. I was curious how the character of Dr. Strange would tie in with The Avengers. Watch the credits.

Some of the characters I believe could be swapped out with someone else, but overall its a pretty cool movie. I am a bit biased since I am a marvel, DC and comic book fan in general. The fact that this is Blu-ray and comes with a digital copy made it a hands down must buy.

We saw this movie with our sons when it was at the theater and couldn't wait to add it to our collection. I was not particularly interested based on the previews, but the movie was far better than expected! It is well cast and keeps you on the edge of your seat to the end!

Even though I never read Doctor Strange comics growing up, Marvel Studios hits another home run. Bringing magic and expanding the MCU to include the other realms is just another fantastic entry, creating another character for both Marvel and comic book fans alike to enjoy!

I personally loved the movie. I feel like it wasn’t given enough credit when people need to remember it’s an origin story and some origins arent has action packed as sequels. Personally I thought it was great and a wonderful way to be able to continue the franchise.

Marvel has made it easy to love these movies! They are fun to watch again and again. I didn't think Dr. Strange was going to be as good as it was honestly. So lower expectations going in, made this one surprisingly good. It holds up to the current lineup of Marvel movies!

This movie was a pleasant surprise. Based on the previews I thought this was going to be weird one. And while there are some strange parts, it actually turned out to be pretty entertaining. The Marvel guy's tied this in to the rest of the movies. Definitely a great flick.

As most Marvel movies are, this is a pretty simple and straight forward plot, with a forgettable bad guy. That being said it's well acted, the special effects are phenomenal, and the action is fun. By this point you either like the MCU or you don't, this is a solid entry.

Marvel's taken another risk (as much as any of their films are considered a risk these days) on Doctor Strange, but its "gamble" has paid off. The visual flair of the film sets it apart from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which may be enough to get non-MCU fans in the door (that and possibly Benedict Cumberbatch. I'm more of a Mads Mikkelsen girl myself.) Otherwise, it's as good as you would expect from Marvel. Now bring on Thor: Ragnarok!

After recommendations from friends, I purchased Dr. Strange in 3D. The film doesn't start like a Marvels superhero film, but quickly became an action film with incredible graphics. The 3D effects are great. I will need to watch it again to understand some of the action.

Dr. Strange is a feast for the eyes with all its special effects. The plot is simple enough and the sarcastic dry humor is hilarious. This is a fun film and should be considered for your collection of other Marvel movies. It just might be the best Marvel movie yet!

I was never a doc strange fan until I saw the cartoon movie from 2007. That changed my mind. I hated the marketing for this movie as it was a little too " Inception". Thankfully the movie was not really like that and stood on its own. For clarification I loved Inception.

One of the lesser luminaries in the Marvel Universe, Stephen Strange comes on strong in his first solo movie. Great and cheeky performance by Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role, along with several fine supporting players, especially Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One. But the real star of the film is the visual aspect, which is quite psychedelic and even beautiful at times as Strange travels through time and other dimensions. Not bad in 3D either.
