This really brings Dr. Strange into the light in the MCU. The special effects in this will blow your mind, especially in 3D or 4K. Unlike several other movies that used some ‘creative licenses’ to alter the storyline, this stays fairly loyal to the comic, fairly.

I am posting this review based on the movie, not the actual purchase. I just received this and am plugging it in this weekend. The movie itself was awesome, and opened up his origin story nicely. Can't wait to see how Dr Strange plays into the Marvel universe as a whole.

Though I've never watch the Dr. Strange series, this movie made me curious, because I truly enjoyed this movie - the story, the acting, the special effects - and could not wait to own it on Bluray. To me, it was like Super Heroes meets Inception. Loved both movies.

As an avid comic collector, basing the movie on the comic, it really doesn't apply, some of the story follows the comic, while other parts do not, so, if you haven't read the story, its very good, if you have read the comics, its not disappointing! in fact its very good

If you like Marvel movies, you will love this. Great introduction to Marvel's mystic universe, and serves as a connection for future movies. Good story, and some really outstanding special effects. Plus, the artwork of the steelbook really stands out from other designs.

Yes, we have Disney+, and yes, all those movies are there... But I'm an old school guy, and having the "hardware" has it's own pluses... Also, I like to eq my sound system to find the sweet spot!!!

Recently purchased a 3D 4K UHD TV and watching this movie in 3D was a real treat. The FX were amazing! It's a great movie. The story flows well with suspense, some humor, lots of action. I think it is one of Marvel's best origin stories since Iron Man came out in 2008.

Great special effect! The 4K & HDR (HDR10) looked awesome. I'm still trying to calibrate my new 4K OLED to get the best picture. After fine tuning the calibrations, I was really to sharpen the details.

Captain America Winter Soldier is by far my favorite Avengers movie, but don't get me wrong Doctor Strange was very good. I watched the 3D version. The 3D was very good as well. Not knowing the comic book, the movie did a good job allowing me to learn about the characters, who they were, what role they play, and how they became who they are. Just the right balance of action also. If you have a 3D player then this is a nice addition to your library.

I didn't know much about Doctor Strange prior to this movie, but seeing it he's fantastic! I wish I would have read the comics years ago, but now I have something to look forward to. Very enjoyable film, Marvel continues to put out great films.

I think that this movie was great. It adds a certain magic component to the Marvel Universe that goes beyond Thor and his hammer. Look forward to seeing Dr Strange again in the future of the Marvel Universe. Oh and the DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Download were great too.

The title sums it up--this is a great introduction to a character that follows the tradition of Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man in providing a fun origin to a new character. You don't need to know anything about Dr. Stephen Strange, MD to enjoy this great Marvel movie!

Much like Iron Man, I was not a big Dr. Strange guy in my comic reading days. Like Iron Man, I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the film adaptations....Cumberbatch is the perfect Steven Strange just as Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect Tony Stark.

Not sure why best buy wants me to review movies, but ok I'll do it for the points. It was a great movie like I already knew it was, and looked great on 4k even with a standard blu Ray player. And now I enjoy having the movie anywhere with the disney anywhere app.

I highly recommend watching "Doctor Strange" because it is an entertaining and has great cinematography! Overall, the storyline is great, the selection of actors and actresses is great too. The only thing I dislike is that I wish Disney would release this movie in 4K!

I never read Doctor Strange in the comics but after seeing this movie I must have missed a great comic. This movie had my interest from the beginning to the end. I got the 3D version by my wife wanted to see in Blu-Ray, I'm going to watch it again but this time in 3D!

A good storyline. A bit of an overly simplistic beginning nut eventually a creative story told in an inventive way that in the end is resolved but has the audience asking what happens next. Good movie and not too scary for my 7yr old. Your kid's experiences may vary.

The movie is good. The picture on the 4K is nice, seeing some of the magic and mystical things looks very good in 4K. The sound is very nice when using Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 The Steelbook packaging as also cool.

In terms of the packaging, I loved this steel book! Really does a great job showing off an important part of the movie with a cool design. The movie itself is fantastic! Marvel took a risk with Doctor Strange and it pays off. Mixture of Martial Arts and Inception.

Dr. Strange is yet another addition to the MCU, and the time/dimension bending of the characters make for a truly trippy viewing experience. I loved this film, and I would recommend it to any fan of this genre. Benedict Cumberbatch once again does an excellent job.
