This is one of the greatest movies to come out in recent years. Even if you're not into the MCU, this movie is captivating. Best Buy was the only place near us that hadn't run out of movies the day it came out. They had every option too (BluRay, DVD, combo, etc.).

I think we're beyond the point of being blown away by Marvel films anymore, with few exceptions, but that's not really a bad thing. This is another formulaic super hero origins story, it does it's job well enough, introducing yet another super into the massive MCU and saving earth once again from devastation, which is pretty much a weekly thing in the MCU. What I will say about this film though is that it has some awesome, trippy visuals.

One of Marvels movies that trips the fantastic with a super story line and great plot. A key character for the Marvel series, this is a great movie setting the foundation of the character and Marvel Multiverse.

Even though this isn't the best Marvel movie, it's still a great one to be included in the MCU. This entry is quite a bit different from the other MCU movies, as is the character of Doctor Strange, so it was nice to see something new. A good fun movie to see.

One of the best marvel movies to date. Much more mystical than any other of the marvel studio productions. If you enjoy matrix type CGI this is a great movie to have. 3D version is nice to have we preferred the 2D since its not the same experience as the theater.

This is a great story and continuation of the multi-verse of marvel characters. This opens up more possibilities within the marvel world. I'm not sure where marvel misses up. I thought they would be unable to make each movie enjoyable, but they keep it fun, interesting, and exciting! I really liked the refillable beer Thor was enjoying in one of the end credits scenes. I'm looking foreword to the continuation of the next phases of the MCU.

Marvel's Doctor Strange [Includes Digital Copy] [Blu-ray/DVD] [2016] shows that Marvel Studios could probably do no wrong at this point. Doctor Strange isn't an all-time great but it's a very solid and good Superhero movie. The origin story is pretty by the numbers but the special effects are unbelievable. This movie is visually stunning approaching the Avatar level. I highly recommend this movie for fan of Sci-fi and comic book films.

I highly recommend this film - tons of trippy special effects that look like a kaleidoscope effect and such - yet the story line is phenomenal! Truly gets right down to the point and is loaded with tons of action. Any true Marvel Fan would for sure buy this film!

This movie was another surprise hit from me because I didn’t know much of the characters but as usual Disney/Marvel knocks it out! The visuals are phenomenal in 4K!

Love Marvel movies? Then you'll love Dr. Strange. Filled with action and intrigue. Following the plight and transformation of Dr. Strange is... Well, you should just check it out for yourself. It's definitely worth it!

This was a meh movie another rather obscure character to me but they pulled it off nicely no real complaints.

I've heard a lot of folks saying that Marvel needs to stop doing intro stories for their characters and just jump into the action - let us learn about the character thru his/her actions... and I think there is some truth to this. Seems like the intro stories are getting a bit old and predictable. That said, this film still manages to go to some interesting places and turns the ho-hum visuals of previous Marvel films on their head.

Dr. Strange takes the recent run of Marvel movies to the mystical. Benedict Cumberbatch is awesome as the eponymous hero, and the rest of the cast is just as outstanding. But better than the performances are the mind-bending special effects and action sequences.

A different yet very entertaining approach to the world of Marvel as Benedict Cumberbatch puts on the cape and offers a unique take on Doctor Strange that works better than I could have imagined.

Doctor Strange puts a mix of Inception's visuals, Harry Potter's magic, and Marvel's own incredible story-telliing to make a blockbuster movie and a great start for a new character in the MCU. A character which I cannot wait to see again in future Marvel movies!

This movie really takes you on a trip. Especially in 4K. I also have a 3D tv but I think they are fazing out so I’m changing up. It can be a little hard to see when the film is kinda dark but I still loved it.

This was an excellent film which depicted the mysterious Dr. Strange and how he became the character. Remember him from my comic book days but, for some reason, I could never get into him. However, this film has given me a new perspective on the mysterious one.

This was an amazing entry in the marvel universe. I was worried about how magic would fit in the MCU but my worries dissolved after seeing the movie. Cumberbatch is made for Steven Strange. Also, awesome steel book. Every time Best Buy has them I preorder them.

If you enjoy superhero movies, this one is the same premise. The effects are pretty great and though you don't fall in love with his ego centric character, you do respect him and his story is pretty unique. All in all its a fun ride and keeps you entertained.

The movie is great. DVD selection sucks in the store. I'm not an online shopper, I want to be able to come into a store, and physically walk out with my purchase, not sit home and wait for it to get delivered.
