Dr. Strange is my favorite MCU movie. It’s everything about this movie that I really enjoy.

Making a good superhero film is a ridiculously difficult endeavor but, at this point, Marvel Studios has it down to a science and that's pretty magical. With each successive movie, they've gradually expanded their universe; redefining what a genre movie is and what it can be. Captain America was a period piece, Thor added folklore/mythology to the mix, then The Avengers blessed us with a team up/crossover. Antman was a heist movie that introduced us to the microverse and Guardians of the Galaxy took us into outer space. Now, at last, Doctor Strange has introduced magic and alternate dimensions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it's pretty awesome! It's also a movie worth owning in 3D- the visuals are super trippy and absolutely spectacular! Benedict Cumberbatch is perfectly cast and makes the fact that this is yet another origin story a lot easier to bear. As always, Marvel has given us a movie that perfectly brings the comics to life and delivers on spectacle without ever forgetting the lesson that DC still hasn't managed to learn: CHARACTER IS EVERYTHING.

Great movie and the price was comparable to everyone else. Love that BB will price match.

Dr.Strange movie was awesome and has a lot of action innit that keeps your attention.

Saw this in the theater and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Second time around was just as good on BluRay. Initially, I wasn't sure whether Benedict Cumberbatch would be a good fit for Dr. Strange, but the casting gurus at Disney/Marvel scored another home run. Of course, Mads Mikkelsen is the favored psychopath of the day and plays the part as well as you would expect. Without giving away too much, there's still the obligatory story arch where bad is good, and good turns out to be touched by bad; the protagonist suffers through personal adversity (brought on by hubris, or this wouldn't be the kind of modern heroic epic that has made the Marvel Cinematic Universe so vibrant); and the ending opens your eyes to a broader universe of possibilities...and sequels. A little Westernized mysticism, combat action, and humor make this a classic Disney/Marvel movie, so, if you've enjoyed the rest, this won't disappoint. If you've been looking for wider door into the realm of comic book movie fantasy--one that's a little less sci-fi and a little more fantasy--this may be it.

This movie was better than I anticipated. Lots of cool storyline and an Infinity Stone!
