I have been a fan of Dr Strange since I was a kid and I must say that I think this is one of the best movies that I have seen in a while. I enjoyed it so much that I have watched it several times. I hope to see followup movies about Dr Strange. the graphics in the film were great too.

If you're invested in the Marvel cinematic universe, you know what you're getting into. It's basically Iron Man with magic, which is by no means a bad thing. However, it is kinda "samey". That said, it's samey done REALLY well. Gorgeous visuals, top notch directing and casting, and some genuine humor. However, like most all other Marvel movies, the villains are weak and ultimately forgettable. Oh well, we all know we're just world building and leading up to Infinity War.

Visuals are amazing, acting is amazing, story while having some wholes is overall amazing. The movie is......AMAZING! Very enjoyable for all ages. Visuals are the best in the MCU! If you are a fan of the MCU or Benedict Cumberbatch at all you will not be disappointed in this film!

This film is in my top three list of all the Disney/Marvel movies. Benedict Cumberbatch is the perfect choice to play Doctor Strange. Some of the images in the film look as those they were taken directly from the pages of the comic book. This movie is definitely worth your time.

Let me start by stating that I'm a huge Marvel fan and as a rule have enjoyed almost all the movies. Notable exceptions to that rule would be "Thor: The Dark World" and "Iron Man 2". I would say that Dr. Strange is a cut above those two movies in the fact that it's less schizophrenic on the story it's trying to tell. It's very clear what led Stephen Strange to this point and also illustrates very well how it's not in his nature to accept the fact that there is magic in the world that can't be explained by science. I think where the movie missed the mark a bit is in explaining his training and how he got to where he was. While he may have a photographic memory and retains all the spells, that doesn't explain how basically overnight he was able to master complex martial arts and basically stand up to a "master" in several spots in the movie. I guess it relies on the implied "just trust me, he learned it" but in doing so, I think it removes the believability (if you can use that in a movie like this) that the character could achieve the degree of capability needed. Additionally, the final battle in the movie was a bit anticlimactic and kind of leaves you going "so that's it?" at the end. While I would recommend, you shouldn't go into this movie thinking it's going to be a Marvel movie on par with "Avengers", "Winter Soldier", "Civil War", or even "Ant Man" (which was a surprise hit).

Knowing nothing about Dr. Strange, I didn't know what to expect. Visually the movie is stunning, it has an Inception/The Matrix vibe going for it, but don't let that steer you away. Dr. Strange is a good addition to the Avengers if he makes his way over there, I'm sure he will.

I liked him as Khan, but wasn't sure he could pull this off. He did. Once again showing that for some reason only Marvel, rather than DC, has the secret sauce. I'm glad they waited to make this movie, because the special effects were a BIG part of it. Not that the cast was lacking.

Marvel movies are always exciting and action-packed and even have great origin storylines...but this one was EXTRA fantastic on all levels. SO imaginative and entertaining...and the action-sequences were both dangerous and beautiful. This one looks especially awesome on Blu-Ray! :)

BestBuy had the best prices on 4K discs during Black Friday so it was a good time to fill the odd holes in my collection. I was not a big fan of Dr Strange the first time I watched it but it grew on me the more I did

This movie was purchased because it came in 3D and was worth the money. The special 3D effects really pop the screen. This movie was made for 3D. We are so sorry to have learned that 3D movies will be disappearing from the shelf. I guess 3D never took off in the mass market. Bummer.

This is one of those movies that you have to see to believe. A good combination of action and drama, which is rare these days. Benedict Cumberbatch does a superb job of bringing the Marvel character Dr. Strange to life. I would love to see more Dr. Strange stories brought to life...

If you are a true Marvel comics fan, then Dr Strange will not disappoint. This is yet another Marvel masterpiece. Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role as if he was born for it. This is one of my new favorite Marvel movies and so far the best of Phase 4 yet. Looking for the next film.

I put this one pretty close to the top. I never read any Strange so it was refreshing going into this not knowing much. The Inception influence was kinda nice too. Overall an enjoyable serious movie I rank at the top with Guardians, Avengers, Winter Soldier, and the first Iron Man.

This movie is very interesting.... Dr. Strange has capabilities of healing people. After meeting his new found friends and discovering his hidden talents...nothing could not stop him from facing arising challenges

I had been waiting for Dr strange to come out for a while. The movie doesn't dissapoint, it follows his storyline from the comic really well. It mixes magic with action & has a little humor thrown in as well. Great addition to the marvel universe. Most all fans will like this film.

Ok admittedly they took a script of someone has a problem, gets a power and redeems themselves. BUT, this wasn't your typical punch your way out of situation film. It was fun to watch and made you want to go back and watch it all over again when you finish. Lots of fun, must watch.

One of my favorite Marvel movies, and Disney does their usual hi-quality/hi-price job delivering in UHD quality. Disney+? Sure. But this works with or without wifi, and never has streaming quality issues.

Watched this 3d film on my DLP projector and must say I was shocked by the presentation and quality of the recording. Overall I believe the movie was good but after adding in the 3d effects the movie is great. If you have a system that handles 3d well I highly recommend this movie.

Dr Strange is visually stunning (especially on an OLED 4k tv) Good story. More magic and alternate realities than you can shake a stick at. Interesting use of D&D stuff: astral projection, time manipulation, relics of power, magic spells. Watch the credits (Thor makes a cameo).

I almost wasn't able to get this movie because it sold out so quickly! at least in the steelbook version. I wanted to get a 3-D version but I couldn't because that was also saw about. This is very frustrating! These exclusives that keep coming out are continuously being raised in price due to their high collectors demand. That makes it very frustrating! In regards to the movie Doctor Strange, it is one great visual masterpiece from Marvel! At least that is my opinion
