The film is a lot of fun, though if I'm being perfectly honest I'm not all that familiar with the character in the comics, so perhaps Benedict Cumberbatch plays him a bit snarkier and closer to Tony Stark than is really necessary, but it's still an enjoyable ride. Stephen Strange searches for a cure for his ruined hands and ends up in the middle of a high stakes battle for reality as we know it. Bonus points for the cool Steelbook packaging.

Doctor Strange has been a long running comic and they finally brought this Character to the Big Screen, Outstanding effects, Tells the story of how He goes from Surgeon to Magic Wizard fighting against Fallen Monks from the same Order he trained at. A-Plus Film!

Yes, we have Disney+, and yes, all those movies are there... But I'm an old school guy, and having the "hardware" has it's own pluses... Also, I like to eq my sound system to find the sweet spot!!!

Great special effect! The 4K & HDR (HDR10) looked awesome. I'm still trying to calibrate my new 4K OLED to get the best picture. After fine tuning the calibrations, I was really to sharpen the details.

I won't say much about the movie because you either like it or you don't, but the steelbook is one of the cooler looking ones from the Best Buy Marvel Exclusive steelbooks. I'd definitely recommend it to any fan of steelbooks. (The 3D is great on the movie as well.)

I was kind of hesitant to get this movie, but I love everything Marvel in movies so I figured I would check it out. It exceeded my expectations, this is a great movie. Well put together and a great plot, if you like Marvel comics and movies, this is a must purchase.

Fantastic movie and sequels are needed! Great graphics ad story line and it's always great to see Stan Lee in the movies. Humor and pathos ensue in this movie. I read Dr. Strange in the '60s ands can't wait to see the expansion of this character and his environment!

This is a review of the Steelbook not the movie. Movie is great. I really like this design. The front is the open Eye of Agamotto. The interior images are the pages from the book descrbing how to use the Eye. Overall a clever design. Not as clever as the Ant_man SB.

Doctor Strange is a very difficult comic to bring to life. I think Disney did a fantastic job with this film. Enough to impart the flavor of the original comic book hero without trying to go too far. Very entertaining and fun addition to my Marvel collection movies!

Another great Marvel steelbook to add to the collection. The only downside with this release is the movie title is not on the spine (but we already had this issue with the Guardians of the Galaxy steelbook). Still recommended to add to the Marvel library collection!

Well, first there's Benedict Cumberbatch, soooo there's that! He doesn't disappoint. I think most fans of Dr. Strange will not be unhappy with this interpretation. The quality of the special effects is as you would expect and the story is interesting. I enjoyed it.

The movie is good. The picture on the 4K is nice, seeing some of the magic and mystical things looks very good in 4K. The sound is very nice when using Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 The Steelbook packaging as also cool.

I don't need to say much about the movie here; it's an excellent movie that's been reviewed to the Nth degree. The bonus content, however, is fantastic, especially the featurettes. The gag reel isn't as funny as some others, but it's still entertaining. Good stuff!

Doctor Strange is a great movie. It starts off a little slow. There was a moment or two I thought the good doctor needed a slap upside the head, but he came about. The actions scene were exciting. The support cast is great. I know there was backlash about the casting for the Ancient One. I think there were options not taken, though I was glad it was a woman, because there just aren't enough on the screen. I can't wait to see what comes next.

i'm a marvel movie fan. for a long time now too. this movie is great and visually stunning. great acting. the box art is cool. plus best buy is very good at keeping the stock and item in great shape. definately would recommend to any action or comic book movie fan.

Took a while to build the plot, but once there, it is very entertaining. Saw it in 3D in the theater and it was a must-have for my Marvel home collection. Very enjoyable the 2nd time. And like all the other Marvel movies, we will watch it again and again over time.

Excellent movie with great cast. Fast paced, not dumbed down. I had no idea about how they'd represent Dr. Strange, but I was very happy with it. There is enough action and drama for fans of the genre, and enough eye candy for everyone else. Highly recommend in 3D.

Doctor Strange is a very well done and entertaining addition to the MCU. It feels like the first Iron Man the way they build the characters in this film. Packed with a superstar cast, stuning visuals, and a well done score Doctor Strange is a very well done movie.

This is one of the greatest movies to come out in recent years. Even if you're not into the MCU, this movie is captivating. Best Buy was the only place near us that hadn't run out of movies the day it came out. They had every option too (BluRay, DVD, combo, etc.).

I think we're beyond the point of being blown away by Marvel films anymore, with few exceptions, but that's not really a bad thing. This is another formulaic super hero origins story, it does it's job well enough, introducing yet another super into the massive MCU and saving earth once again from devastation, which is pretty much a weekly thing in the MCU. What I will say about this film though is that it has some awesome, trippy visuals.
