It is another great introduction movie, similar in nature to Iron Man but it is its own entity. Great actors, great story and it brings magic to the front i the Marvel Universe. I give it a 4.5-5 out of 5 stars, good popcon movie.

This movie manages to weave together the theme of rebirth ( for the doctor anyway) and a twist on time and destiny. Great special effects help bind together two themes as we wonder if a mans ego can give way to a greater purpose.

If you missed seeing this movie in the theater it's a MUST see and in my opinion a MUST own for anyone who likes Marvel action movies. What makes the experience that much better is when you view it in 3D. Absolutely Amazing!!!

Great movie, one of Marvel's most unique. Highly recommend the Blu-Ray, The film looks fantastic and the HD copy let's you watch it anywhere. The special features are very good as well, very surprising how much was shot on camera.

Benedict Cumberbatch, perfect match as Stephen Strange as Downey is for Tony Stark. Action and story good. Did a good job of mashing decades of comic errata into a few hours, which is hard to do and bring out the story and the character as well as this film did. Worth a place in your Marvel movie collection and one of the ones you will watch over again and again through the years.

Benedict Cumberbatch is a perfect Doctor Strange, and this movie is a great introduction to a whole new facet of the MCU. I'm excited to see what the do with this character in Thor 3. Also, the bonus feature of Thor is priceless!

This set contains three different versions of the movie - DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital - so that you'll be able to watch it wherever you are! More importantly, though, the case is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. It's wonderful!

Was far better than expected. Bought this on a whim for a movie night with friends who are Marvel fans. Found the story line, acting and special effects all much better than I was expecting and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, particularly in 4K.

Really fun film, terrific blu-ray with a great hour long "Making Of" documentary and an informative commentary from director Scott Derrickson. Benedict Cumberbatch IS Doctor Strange. A mind-trip worth taking on your home theater.

For an origin story, Dr Strange is excellent. Great special effects and fairly decent character development of Dr Strange. Background players however get short shrift. The extras on the bluray are great. Love the steel book case.

Dr. Strange in 3D in theaters was awesome, and in the 3D home theater it is just as trippy! Great special features & the Steelbook packaging is top notch. If you get any film in 3D, make it this one. You won't be disappointed!

My family and I enjoy the acting of Benedict Cumberbash as much we enjoy the MARVEL Superheroes movies. DR. STRANGE is great entertainment to settle down with in the evening or over the weekend. We love watching it over and over.

Finally some marvel occult figure besides Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider, Actor that played the part exceeded my expectations good movie, hopefully there will be a follow up recommend watching, just remember it's the astral world.

Overall excellent movie. Adding a new dimension to the MCU. Benedict Cumberbatch is perfect in the role. The visual effects are absolutely amazing. Well worth the watch. The blu-ray extras add to the behind the scenes experience.

If you own a 3D television, this movie is a MUST BUY! Marvel has another hit on its hands with this action packed prequel to The Defenders. Packaged in a beautiful steelbook! The special effects in this movie are mind blowing!

This movie left me wanting to see a sequel, and as it is Marvel and makes money I am sure I won't be waiting long. The quality was great, the out takes were funny, and as far as a digital/dvd package, well that is what you get.

I have seen most if not all of the MCU and have generally liked all of them. While not familiar with Doctor Strange (had heard of him but not much else) I found this a good entry role for him and can't wait to see him in future.

I first watched it at the theater, to bad they don't have it in blu-ray 3D, really nicely done, especial effects and the story as well. I know I will watch it over and over again... that is why I had to buy it!!!

The movie might adhere a bit too closely to the Marvel template, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a visually refreshing mind-trip that will make fans out of everyone who watches it. Fantastic visual effects.

I enjoyed this movie and I saw it in 3D where the effects were more amazing to see than in 2D. This is a good movie addition to the Marvel universe. The movie was a bit on the long side but then this is an origin movie so a lot of extra stuff explaining the character had to be told. Not the best in the Marvel franchise but very good and I'm interested in seeing where they go in a sequel.
