Like Ant-Man, I wasn't sure what to expect. In that context, the film hit it out of the park. The acting, SFX, and cinematography were superb. Cumberbatch plays his character extremely well. Rachel McAdams is great. I expected Tilda Swinson's portrayal of the Ancient One to be clichéd -- it wasn't. Her character was a study in graceful elegance. The only thing that may be considered less than outstanding was the storyline. Not perfect, but more than up to the task of introducing the character and definitely sufficiently compelling to keep you immersed in the film.

Added it to my marvel collection. Interesting story.

definitely one of the underdogs in the MCU, and one it definitely looks great in 4k HDR with all the wonderful and wacky colors and cool effects.

Doctor Strange is a great movie. Great from beginning to ended!

What an unexpected great movie which added to the infinity war

My family and I watched this together and it was well worth it.

If you are a fan of Marvel comics and a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then Dr Strange will be a welcome addition to the series and your personal library. Its a fun movie, with a wonderful cast of actors and eye-popping visual effects. If you are not familiar with Doctor Strange, this is an origin story and a chance to get familiarized with a character - who is sure to play a large role in the upcoming Avengers movies. As far as this Best Buy edition is concerned - for a few dollars more it is a much nicer and collectible edition compared to the standard one you can find in all retail stores. The slipcover is a very cool plastic design blends well with the cover artwork on the jewel case. It also has some cool special features and extras on the disc. Solid summer superhero movie for the casual fan, and a must-have edition for the collector

As arrogant as he was brilliant, Stephen Strange destroyed his life and spent his entire fortune trying to get it back. When faced with complete failure, he was forced to open his mind to a new direction that he previously discounted and ridiculed. He was forced to decide whether he was going to continue to live his life focused on himself or grow into a person who would live his life to help others. These are themes that infuse real life, which is the reason this film resonates in a relevant way, despite it's fantastical nature. The film is visually spectacular, the story and the acting are top notch, but the basic questions it explores as to the purpose of a meaningful life are what make it an excellent film.
