A great movie! I wanted to make sure my kids saw it, and saw it in all it's glory. Heartwarming and funny, the story is timeless. I wanted a Blu Ray copy for our home movie collection and this was perfect. Julie Andrews and the entire cast were simply great. If you loved these characters as a kid like I did, there is no greater joy than sharing this beloved classic with your own kids (though truth be told, I'd watch it even without the kids as it's like reconnecting with an old friend--a real warm feeling of nostalgia). Many of the songs were simply fantastic as well. If you aren't one to care about extras on DVD's though and you already have a Blu Ray copy of the movie, I don't know if you'd need this latest copy, but we did not have a Blu Ray copy in our house, so well worth it for my family. And if you love Mary Poppins, then you have to check out "Saving Mr. Banks" that tells the story behind the movie. It stars Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as the author of Mary Poppins. A very wonderful movie in it's own right, and was fascinating to learn how the books became a Disney picture and the gut-wrenching story of the writer in creating the story. Both are a must see!

Best Buy has the best Disney Steelbook editions ever. Recomended for Disney movie collectors.
