If you have seen the original you will not be disappointed. It is modernized a little but the storytelling and twists are still there and fun to watch. The perfect part for Andrews was not taken and it should have been. It would have made the movie that much better.

I've never actually seen the original but I may now. My wife was excited to get this because she's a Disney Fanatic. I have to say that not just the music but the movie itself is wonderful. Fun for the whole family with some very catchy music. Highly recommend it

Fantastic movie for the whole family and you get to see a very mature, but very spry Dick VanDyke dance again on the big screen. They did a great job of capturing the spirit of thew original while spinning a whole new tale of Mary Poppins for a new generation,

Emily Blunt plays Mary Poppins in this long awaited sequel. Lin-Manuel Miranda who plays Jack the Lamplighter and a surprise actor from the original all add up to more magical good family fun! All of the performances are top-shelf and should not be missed!

A good looking movie with great integration with the animated scenes but really just the same story from the first movie. Would have liked to see disney mess with the plot more.....how? Well that is for the writers to tell me a story, not take and refresh something that is how old???? But a solid 3.7 stars from in the end.

Excellent family movie! Great music and story line. It was not as great as the original, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It was very well done and I think anyone who loved the original will enjoy this one. Seeing Dick vanDyke dance in it was an added bonus.

While no one will top the original Mary Poppins, this sequel is a fantastic production that showcases newer technologies but still holds true to the original ideals of Mary Poppins. The songs are great, the animation is great, the whole movie is fantastic!

Mary Poppins Returns, will not satisfy those who hold the original to a high standard. This is meant to stark the imagination of todays kids and tingle the nostalgia for those who have seen the original. Walt Disney would be happy with these neo sequel.

This is a good movie in the tradition of the original but it does not have the deep spiritual/philosophical concepts of the original. It is a great follow-on story line and the acting is very good. PLUS two surprise appearances at the end! Great touch!

I was a little kid when the 1st one came out. Amazing graphics 1st movie. This movie surprisingly not as exciting. But still worth adding to your Disney collection. If you don’t have the 1st one, buy it. Best Buy has it for sale at a good price.

Mary Poppins Returns is a charming sequel to the beloved classic. The 4K disc offers a mild but noticeable upgrade to the 1080p Blu-Ray (which also comes in this pack), and the HDR results in a much more robust color palette. Audio is upgraded to Dolby Atmos which is very good and offers plenty of surround effects.

A more updated version of the 1964 classic. An edgier grittier version of the original. More of an adult feel than the original which had an innocence. This version has amazing choreography and songs. Emily Blunt is great as Mary Poppins and Lin-Manuel Miranda is amazing. Bought both the remake and the 1964 original.

Growing up in the era when the original Mary Poppins movie was released we were a tad skeptical of a sequel but found this movie to be a decent follow-up to the original. Te plot was at least manageable. Overall we enjoyed this new movie.

Mary Poppins Returns is an okay reimagining of a sequel to The classic. The songs aren't as memorable, but for a new generation who hasn't seen the original, it's pretty good. Emily Blunt is great as the title character. But for anyone expecting a movie as strong as the original, try to temper your expectations

This movie really did the original one justice: it was sweet, smart, fun and soooo entertaining! The music and animation were really great...and the Blu-ray has TONS of fun extras and behind-the-scenes items. I really enjoyed this one! :)

As a huge fan of the original Poppins and Disney in general, of course we had to add this one to our collection as well. My family loved it a lot. Its not better than the original that's for sure, but this update brings back those great memories again. Looks fantastic on 4k though! I will say that!

Great Movie! Always loved Lin Manuel Miranda! What a great talent! Great follow-up to a Disney classic. The version I purchased was the Limited Edition steelbook packaging. The Movie and the limited Edition packaging was excellent!

This film uses the tried and proven Disney method of movie making. Taking a lot of the plot and storylines from the 50 plus year old original movie and freshening them up for a modern film. Emily is fantastic but she is no Julie Andrews. A good watch with the younger children and nostalgic grown ups.

This movie is great for the whole family. It’s really upbeat and the songs are so catchy, my three year old won’t stop singing them. I even had to buy the soundtrack for them. It’s one of the best live action Disney movies of our time.

It’s Disney. I didn’t have high doubts and it wasn’t a remake so there wasn’t anything to truly be skeptical about on this one. A solid cast and the music was more catchy than I would’ve thought too. A fun time for the whole family!
