We all know the original Mary Poppins movie with the great Julie Andrews, and Emily Blunt does ok to fill her shoes. So its now the grown-up kids that are used with their kids as the characters used to teach them about life and magic and such. Tough to equal the original...

Overall, this movie plays well to the original, with cut-ins and seamless blending of traditional animation styles with real-life acting, but falls short of the original's magic with an overuse in my opinion of CGI.

I bought this movie as a gift to my 5 year old granddaughter for Easter. I did watch The Blu-ray and DVD to make sure the play back was good. She will enjoy this movie as much as I enjoyed the original Mary Poppins.

I loved this movie when I saw it in the theater so knew I had to own a copy. Best Buy's steelbooks are great, the artwork on the case, inside and out, is gorgeous, and I love that it always includes a digital copy.

Mary Poppins Returns will undoubtedly become a modern Disney classic and I look forward to watching it with my kids and one day grandkids as this truly has the potential to be a true classic. Great family movie!!!

This is such a wonderful family movie! While nothing could ever be as good as the original Mary Poppins movie, this is a beautiful extension of the story. I was able to walk right into the store and pick up a copy.

Since my DVD player is an antique, it will not play blu-ray DVDs but I wanted this movie since I saw it in the theater. This DVD includes a version that I can watch on my DVD player as well as my antique computer!

Heading into purchasing this movie I knew that it wasnt going to be the same as Julie Andrew's however; I did quite enjoy this move with its differences. If you haven't watched it, I highly suggest that you do.

Always scary to when “part” two comes out after a great first movie. This is one the lived up to the first. Well done, nice ties and tributes to the first. Well worth the purchase and love the steel case too!

Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda were amazing. The songs were beautiful. I loved the appearances of Meryl Streep and Angela Lansbury but the very special appearance of an extraordinary man was just superb.

Just as magical and fun as the original film. The music is as enjoyable as in the previous Mary Poppins movie and the chimney sweeper role played by Lin Manuel Miranda is definitely a joy to watch.

All of the actors and dancers are very talented but the movie lacks the phenomenal score in the original movie by the Sherman brothers that each new generation still memorizes and sings. The cinematography is well done especially blending live action and animation.

When I first heard they were making a sequel without Julie Andrews I was furious, but Emily Blunt really did shine as Mary Poppins. It was also a faithful adaptation to the book series. 4K looks beautiful.

I grew up like most kids in the 70s loving Mary Poppins and the actors In it. This movie was a good attempt (but not a great one) to rekindle the magic. I will not spoil the plot, but there are a couple of very reminiscent songs and scenes to the original movie.

Any comparison with the original will cause pain to the reviewer. That's what Mary Poppins Returns should be viewed as another chapter, not as a remake. And, if you do, then you will definitely love it. Add to that a fantastic steel book and you can't go wrong.

Mary Poppins Returns is a good movie to watch. It had the Banks children grown up but Micahel Banks has 3 children and they struggle with the living standards. Had a very good ending for everyone.

A wonderful family film that is almost as good as the original. Emily Blunt is a very versatile actress and does a respectable job of reviving the Mary Poppins role. Overall, this is a worthy homage to the original film with a very similar feel to it.

I wasn’t sure it would be good making a sequel so many years later with a whole new cast but it’s really good....catchy songs and a fun movie...(course nothing beats the original) but worth the watch

My daughter loved it, she’s 6... my mother, 71 loved it as well. My husband and I, in our 40’s loved it... great fun for the whole family! Don’t have to see the first one, but even better if u do!

Disney has released a beautiful artistic steelbook that resembles classic animation. Have yet to watch the discs, but from the reviews on bluray.com and hddigest the quality of the films are fantastic!
