Great w Minor Drawbacks
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are overall great headphones in the true wireless earbud market. They lose 1 star because for the premium price, they do not deliver a full suite of premium features. The good: 1. Build quality- the build quality on these is second to none. They are, in my opinion, the best looking and best built headphones in this category on the market. From the heft and shine of the stainless steel charging case to the gloss of the acetate casing on the headphones, these make you feel like you get what you pay for. I enjoy using them partially for this user experience. Caveat: the stainless steel case is mostly unnecessary because it is a fingerprint and scratch magnet. If you're a fan of having to polish your headphone case periodically, this is a non-issue. Otherwise it's self defeating. 2. Sound- These are great sounding headphones, but they cater to the audiophile with a discerning taste in sound stage. If you like to crank your headphones up to damaging levels, these are not your buds. If you like your bass to rattle your brain, these are not your buds. If you like noise cancelling that mutes blaring trains and sirens, these are not your buds. But if you want a pair of true wireless earbuds with a clean sound, pure vocals, tight bass, high fidelity sound on instrumentation, then these are it. I have headphones up and down the sound quality spectrum, and these are firmly at the top. For the less discerning user, these may disappoint bc they don't cater to any of the extremes. Phone calls- I use these for work and frequently skype/conference call and I've had no complaints. Not only that, I've explicitly asked for feedback and it's all positive from team members and clients. They also auto-answer a call if you take the bud out of the case while the phone is ringing. The bad: 1. Bluetooth- for a premium pair of headphones, the Bluetooth connectivity strength on these is unacceptably spotty. If your phone is in your pocket or obscured in any way, the Bluetooth connection WILL go in and out. If the headphones and phone are both unobscured, the bluetooth is fine and I am able to navigate anywhere in my home without issue. Still, the purpose of having bluetooth headphones is be able to keep your phone in a pocket or purse so this is a drawback. Not a product killer, though. 2. Noise Cancelling - is just decent on these. I like the ability to turn it on and off, so that's a plus. But when on, they don't "cancel" anything, just dampen. If the noise cancelling is on and your music is playing at a decent enough volume, you can't hear anything around you anyway, so it achieves it's purpose. Likewise if you deactivate the noise cancelling, these do a great job of letting you hear what's going on around you without turning your music off. But if you want total isolation from a set of headphones, these are a 3 star on that front. 3. No app- Almost all the other headphones I own come with an app. Namely, the brands that rhyme with abra kadabra, hose, and Wowers and Bilkins. So for these to be priced firmly as a premium headset, that's a glaring missing feature to not be able to tinker with the equalizer settings. Especially since the default sound stage doesn't cater to any particular sound extremes. You're stuck with your level of bass, treble, etc. Overall, I'd recommend buying these on the strength of the build quality and the sound if you're an audiophile and prefer premium products. They are a "nice to have" but not a must. I know the average buyer for these is also probably considering the apple pods. I prefer these over those because of the better sound. I gave my apple ones away as a gift after getting acclimated to these.

Competitive for the price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I admittedly had never heard of this brand when I picked these up and that immediately left me a bit skeptical about performance. If I had to base everything on quality of materials and packaging, these wireless headphones would get 6 stars. The materials are luxurious, the charging case is very useful and holds multiple rounds of charge, and the tortoiseshell look is something different that stands out in a crowded product space. There are also a bunch of adapters to tailor the fit to your individual needs - something that will become very important as you start using them. How is the sound, you ask? Pretty good overall. If they aren’t seated perfectly in your ears, though, the audio range is limited and flat at best. If you can get them fitting properly, you will absolutely know the difference and find better than average clarity and range for a true wireless product. Bluetooth pairing is effortless, and you can use one by itself if you want to be able to hear what’s going on around you - or just activate the ambient sound mode and get a similar effect with a reduction in audio quality. Noise cancellation is good - not amazing - but would do the trick in an office environment or not-crowded coffee shop. Overall i think you have to weigh the quality of the overall package with some of its limitations - the main one being price - and determine if these are best for you. I’m definitely not disappointed in any way, but know there are plenty of products in this category at all price points that might give similar performance and this one is a true matter of taste and wallet combined.

Top Tier True Wireless with Noise Cancellation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've tried many different true wireless products, from Apple to Sennheiser to B&O, but these earbuds truly are the best out there. The sound signature is warm and crisp, perfect for any music style but especially for those who listen to high quality music. The battery life on these is amazing. 40 hours total and 10 hours on a single charge. Honestly, I've never had any battery issues. These by far are the most comfortable earbuds. The different wingtip fits allows you to fit it to your ear, and then there are also different size earbuds. Truly the best fit I've seen in a true wireless. Not to mention very comfy in which you don't mind listening to them for those 10 hours of battery life. The last component is connectivity. These are my go-to for a solid pairing with my phone. Yes, Airpods have a great Apple connection, but these are right up there. Needless to say, if you are looking for a great pair of headphones with all the capabilities and amazing sound, give these a try.

The BEST In-Ear Headphones... Hands down.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are by far the best in ear headphones I have ever owned or tried. I've been looking for something like these for a long time! The fit is amazing because they give you a ton of different pieces to make sure the ear bud fits your specific ear. These are great for sitting at my desk, yard work, and most importantly amazing for on long runs and working out. They have never fallen out! The sound is top notch! Amazing quality with deep and rich sound. Battery life is very long and the charging is incredibly fast. I own a very nice pair of Sony over ear headphones that I don't even use any more! These have replaced all my headphones. I very RARELY leave reviews but this one is worth taking the time to praise Master and Dynamic for these. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. You will not be disappointed.

Good sound, odd design
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These little headphones deliver great audio quality but take a little getting used to. They come in a nice silver metallic case for recharging and storage and a soft flexible pouch to store the charging case. As you would expect there are multiple sizes of ear tips and multiple sizes of their "patented silicone fit wings" to give you a custom fit earphone in almost any size you could need. Getting the fit right is very important because otherwise, these have zero noise canceling ability. Otherwise, noise-canceling is comparable to my over the ear Bose QC25 headphones. Call clarity was good on my iPhone and callers indicated they could hear me well overall. Callers did mention a few times during my initial trial that I sounded distant when I tried to call with both earphones in place, but this may have been a fluke as it has not repeated. One nice feature about these for those who are left ear dominant, the left bud can be used for making phone calls which is often a disabled feature with other manufacturers. These are a great set of earphones for an audiophile, but I found them a little tough to get the fit right and they don't like to consistently seat easily in the ear compared to my Bose SoundSport Free. From a sound perspective, these are really great and the noise-canceling is really impressive from such a compact device. From a fit perspective, I would probably pass and go for something that consistently seats in my ear and doesn't try to fall out.

Most regrettable purchase of 2019
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you plan to sit very still in a chair clutching your phone to your chest while listening to these then they are the right choice for you. They sound great for a pair of true wireless, seriously the quality is impressive. Also they look very nice and the charging case is beautiful it looks like jewelry when you pull it out of its nice little pouch. However, if listening to these in a chair, why not just use a good ol regular set of high end cans? If you plan to go to the gym with these, work with these on, bend over a lot or climb anything these are not for you. When you start moving around with them they have connectivity issues, lots of other reviews complain about this. They don't stay in the ear well after you "wear in" the little rubber wings. Wearing them in will only take a month or two of regular usage. The battery life is poor. They are very overpriced and are only for the audiophile who works at his desk and maybe gets up to go get some water or use the bathtoom everynow and then. If you plan to do any of the things someone would want true wireless earphones for, skip these now. The reviews of this product have been flagged for suspicious activity on Amazon and I assume theres fake reviews on this page and others as well. Im not saying someone is paying for people to come rate these things as 5 stars, but if you think this is a 5 star product you eat crayons for breakfast.

Good sound quality good battery life but problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality was great so was battery life. Noise cancelling isn't that great and with any wind or tool noise at work made loud feedback and screeching noise into my ear. When I contacted m&d support they said oh if you think something is wrong with them return it... Not much help with resolving my concerns. For some reason the left ear bud always falls out. Besides this they are comfortable when they stay in. The battery life is around 10 hours which is better than anything I've tried. Music sounds great. No lag in movies or anything. No connection issues with Bluetooth.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback! If you're having trouble with the fit / seal to get the best ANC playback, please contact us directly- we are happy to help further troubleshoot or warranty the item if you believe it is defective. The Active Noise Cancellation feature is best at reducing ambient and white persistent noises - such as the hum of an engine, air conditioner, or other white noise. It will not be as effective with short bursts of noise, such as talking or tapping, for example.

A leap ahead of the original but still needs work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My primary complaints with the original MW07 have been largely addressed by this update: battery life is significantly improved (10 hours--claimed--on a single charge) and they now use Bluetooth 5. I still don't like the case which is a fingerprint magnet and will get scratched and beat up over time (the new GO version of the MW07 has a better looking case, but it's smaller with much less backup power and won't stay open on its own), and there is a slight background hiss (even more so on GO version) that I don't remember hearing in the original, nor in competing products in its class. There is a slight lag watching YouTube via the iOS app. At this point, even budget headphones have largely resolved this issue, so for a $299 luxury/premium product to exhibit this behavior in late 2019 is unacceptable. Furthermore, it isn't possible to update the firmware nor is there a companion smartphone application (still!), more unacceptable drawbacks for a $299 luxury/premium product in late 2019. On to what I like: they sound great. The audio is crisp and clean, with a wide sound stage, and especially well-suited for vocals and acoustic instruments; though AAC support seems to have been dropped in this update (presumably to help achieve the claimed 10 hour battery life). My favorite in terms of audio are still the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless; they have a wider sound stage and a richer, more robust sound signature with support for more codecs, but the battery life is inferior. However, these are my second favorite in the segment. One annoyance is that even at their lowest volume, they're too loud. The case now locks in the open position, resulting in less annoying unintentional closures (the cheaper GO version isn't so equipped), and provides three additional charges. They have a full suite of volume and playback controls in the form of intuitive and easy to press real tactile buttons located on the top of each ear piece. I really appreciate not having to tap on the headphones or push them further into my ear when using them. The claimed 10 hour battery is phenomenal on paper, though I'll never listen to these for a single 10 hour stretch, so I'll never know if that number holds up in reality. M&D claimed 3.5 hours for the original MW07, an assertion that didn't hold up in actual usage, so I wouldn't bank on getting 10 hours on a single charge out of these. So all that said, I regret that I can't recommend this product. At $299, there are too many drawbacks, which is disappointing for a second generation product. Despite the inferior battery life, the aforementioned Sennheisers are the class leader in the segment (in my opinion, of course), and if you can spare the $299 (I sometimes see these discounted to $269) I would suggest getting those instead. M&D also released a less expensive companion product called the MW07 GO aimed for gym/workout use. They are $100 cheaper but come with a few compromises in case battery life, audio quality, and features (see the product info for the GO to see what you're losing for the $100 discount). That said, if the M&D sound is your jam, I would look at these first.

Expensive and Better than the 1st Generation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the sound is great. My opinion from the original MW07 was the battery life sucked. For the same price you get better battery life, the same great sound and a product that is designed by one of the most elegant and luxury headphone manufacture.

What More Can I say
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I purchased this product yesterday and I had high hopes for what I thought would be the best true wireless headphones on the market, After further review, I have come to realize a few things about these headphones. 1. They do not seal MY ears completely, therefore I lose out on TRUE Active Noise Cancellation (A huge reason I wanted these earphones in the first place). After speaking to a representative from the company I was given a link to buy "Comply Foam" (Go figure). I will be purchasing the Airpod Pro and trying that out to see if the sound quality and performance is better.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A couple of things about these Earbuds, Great sound however they take 2 weeks to get used too as they will hurt your ear and slip out until you get the right size. but THE BAD thing is the battery started to go ut quickly after 6 months (Quartine Workouts) which is really disappointing and now I have to look for a better pair to buy.
