The steelbook doesn't have any art inside of it. As far as the movie, what can i say that hasn't already been said. It was ok, I'm sure it was awesome in its day. but for me it was ok movie. Makes you think though...

Great movie. A classic at this point. The only 4K DVD I've ever purchased. Can't say it's worth the extra money for the higher resolution on this one.

Personally I think this movie is just ok. It's got a lot of hype. It starts off really slow but the ending is awesome.

Movie is 5 start but the product is not. This is my 3rd matrix (1999) movie. the first one I bought was DVD in early 2000s. DVD had home screen with nice music and best scenes. I used to play just the home screen in loop for hours at home. The Blu-ray that I bought from best buy had no home screen, you play the disc and right away the movie starts. I bought this 4K version from best buy again and still the same disappointment, no home screen. You can consider me a matrix geek and main reason I bought the blueray/4K was the home screen and hope of playing that home screen for hours. So it is a total disappointment. Not sure why there is no home screen. Absence of home screen should be clarified on the product. I mean this is important for a movie, what other technical things that need to be clarified? almost none.

This movie was just ok. It starts off slow but gets better towards the end.

I was excited to see this steelbook on the shelf, it has an artistic beautiful art on the front with the baby in the sack! When I opened it I was very disappointed because there is no inside artwork what so ever just the plain old steel... It is very disappointing because the exact same steelbook from Canada has beautiful inside artwork. What a shame... hence the three stars. It doesn’t come with DVD nor Digital code. I prefer to get the digital version with my purchase.

What can I say, it’s the matrix but it’s more like they did an exact copy of the theater version. Although it is 4K, it doesn’t have the detail as a modern 4K movie. However, it is as detailed as the theatrical release. (It’s not like The Lion King in 4K.)

5 stars for the movie but 3 stars for the wrong photo steelbook image. I bought this thinking it would have neo, trinity, and morpheus on the cover but instead arrived with different cover (matrix using humans as batteries).

The first thing I noticed with the 4k version is the dynamic audio in Dolby atmos. Really demo worthy. Video has the green tint removed but I was expecting more out of the video quality. Would only get for the audio if you want to double dip.

a little disappointed...this particular blu-ray exclusive was "made in mexico". i have found that with repeated use it does not hold up as well as the original dvd......

One of the best movies of all time on 4K. Yes please! But I don’t know if it’s just me, but it was just ok. I wouldn’t expect anything reference to show off though.

I really wanted to be impressed with this. But 20 years later it's just not as impressive as it was. Still has a green tint to it...

The 4k up conversion leaves picture quality to be desired. It's sharper than 1080 but doesn't look near as good as content shot in 4k

It's an Oldy but a good as the saying goes. I should have waited for the 3 movie box set soon to be released in 4K.

Very innovative when Matrix came out. Would recommend having it in your collection. Definitely an iconic movie.

3 stars because the hdr and 4k isn't really upscaled. Can see the grain and low color range.

Great movie and steel case is very nice. Although wish they would add the digital copy in it.

Not the best looking steelbook, but didn't have The Matrix on bluray and it was on sale.
