Uno Ultimate Marvel edition is fun and worthwhile.

Not so keen on the collectible foil cards. Also, the expansions have been hard to find. However, the game is so fun I have to recommend it.

Granted, it's UNO based, so it's not like super powered battles, but still. Definitely fun for everyone, but kids get into the most because it's easy to understand and get playing. Plus, this is labeled as a "1st edition" for all you collectors out there.
