It works really well and I really like that it has a hard food disposal. I recommend leaving the door cracked open for a short period of time after the load is done to give the dishes a chance to dry completely before putting them away.

Our original Maytag lasted 24 years this one heater doesn't work after a few months and after 2 attempts to get an appointment scheduled for repair very frustrated!

New dishwasher did not dry the dishes and they were wet at the completion of the cycle. Best Buy replaced it with another one and had the same problem at the end of the cycle....wet dishes. Called and told them to come and get it. No more Maytag's for me! Bosch makes me smile now!

The only good thing I can say about it is that it is quiet. The door to the unit is flimsy; you can twist it easily. It does not get my dishes clean. It does not have as much room as my previous one, so I wind up hand washing some dishes every night. The owners manual is a joke. It says practically nothing. I cannot tell how much rinse aid is in the dispenser. And it's so low that I have to bend over so far to get something out, and that's hard on my back. I would like to return it and get something else, but that's such a chore. As a Total Tech member, I should be able to do this with no problem, but I don't have high hopes.

Rust only 5 months old!

I returned it without ever using it because seen nothing but problems with the drain hose coming off.

Delivery/install has been canceled and reacheduled 8 times. Zero help from anyone. Hours wasted on the phone. Buy your appliances from somewhere competent if youre looking for delivery/install.

Since it is not far away from our family room, the quietness is welcome. We do not even hear it running. The settings are simple. The time for a normal load is actually almost an hour less that our prior Maytag. It also dries all the dishes. I am very happy that the filter is accessible without taking apart the spray element to get to it.

Don't buy the service plan

Posted .Hello LisaLong, In purchasing extended service coverage from a third-party administrator, you are contracting with and delegating authority to that provider to administer service and/or maintenance for your appliance in lieu of the manufacturer.
Any decisions made by an extended service plan provider, in regard to continued repair of your product versus replacement or reimbursement, or in regard to the service provider used to perform appliance repairs, are at the sole discretion of that service plan administrator. Maytag has no jurisdiction over your service plan or its administrator.
Your comments have been documented in your customer file and are available for review should you need to contact Maytag at a future date. However, in regard to resolving your current appliance concern, we must refer you to your service plan administrator for further assistance.
The extended service company should be abiding by the terms and conditions of your extended warranty. You will want to review your contact and discuss your options further with the plan administrator that holds your contract as they will be able to provide you with the best assistance possible.
