Bought the dishwasher, installed it and during the first cycle, it stopped, flashed an error code and was leaking. It was very late, so we cleared the code, let the dw drain, ended the cycle and went to bed. That was the good part of the story. Woke up the next morning to find that the dishwasher, even though we had drained it AND shut it off - had leaked all night long. Our entire kitchen, dining, foyer and formal living room were soaked. And of course, it didn't end there - it also leaked into our basement. When I called Maytag, they told me to file a claim with our insurance company. That is NOT going to happen, after researching it, this dishwasher has issues with faulty inlet valves leaking - the inlet valve leaked all night and flooded our home. There are not enough words to express my anger and disappointment. I'm sure this doesn't happen to every single dishwasher Maytag makes and Best Buy sells, but since it's a known issue I can't figure out why they continue to sell these without changing the pumps.

Regret buying a Maytag

One year and one month later I'm getting an error F8E4 and annoying beep. Looked up the error and it indicates water in drip pan however it is dry. Very upset that I spent $700 on a dishwasher and it only lasted a year.
