I'm excited about getting my new refrigerator but it has been delayed again. I bought it back in July and now after 3 delays I will not get it until Sept 30th.

It started well but after just a few weeks, the plastic rail for the vegetable/fruit drawer broke off and also saw hairline cracks at the back of the Fridge. Am going to be calling the warranty department.

Shoddy workmanship, missing screw on the outside (can only guess what’s missing the on the inside), dented back, chipped paint and more buzzing than 3 beehives. I’m happier with my 18 year old Maytag.

Refrigerators don't last more than 2 years??! I thought maytag was better than this. Disappointed.

We bought a Maytag refrigerator on June 12, 2019 for $1999.99 It's cost went down later on. Moreover, there is a problem with it, milk gets spoiled after five days. We called Maytag, and are waiting for a technician to come in and fix. We are some what disappointed with our purchase.

Arrived with a missing shelf. INSTALLED the wrong door, because the door shelves wouldn't fit. Exchange it with a LG refrigerator. Hope the compressor doesn't go bad

This refrigerator has been sitting in our garage since it was delivered on June 23rd. Our kitchen is on the second floor but apparently no one wants to move it to that floor. We paid for delivery and installation but I guess we're screwed.

Refrigerator was significantly damaged during the installation..I looked outside as the driver downloaded the refrigerator and it was lying on the side causing the glass tray's to fall inside.

I researched many refrigerators for months. It seemed I liked something about each one that I wished I could put into 1 overall refrigerator. When I discovered the Maytag refrigerator, many of the features I desired were there so I bought it. Have been very pleased so far.

It is very noisy. It is freezing the food in our refrigerator and we keep raising the temperature. Also, it will not make ice. We have had a service rep in and he says that the board is faulty and we are still waiting for a replacement. Very disappointing.

Literally have no idea how it’s possible but drawers do not fit in the side of the door

Within one week of purchasing the water pump went out. Within 4 months of purchase, the ice dispensing motor stopped working.

I purchased this refrigerator/freezer in Oct 2020. I have had NOTHING but problems since I got it! The ice maker has been a NIGHTMARE since day one! From the beginning ice constantly would freeze in maker and not drop, constantly having to defrost. Would make ice off and on, basically whenever it felt like it, I guess. Crushed ice function rarely worked. It would get jammed and eventually broke off front cover and then the plastic lever that holds ice bin in place. Can no long even use dispenser because bin doesn't stay in place. One morning I went into kitchen to find water pouring out dispenser and all over kitchen floor! This was 1 yr and 1 week after purchase date. Water was trying to fill maker, to freeze for ice. I was panicked and trying to figure out how to turn off ice maker. Everything I looked up said it was inside the fridge in specific spot. I didn't have it/couldn't find it. Call Maytag and person is telling me the same thing on the phone...where the on/off switch is. I kept saying no it's not. Got NOWHERE with Maytag! Finally one of my children came in kitchen, looked on door display and noticed above one of the buttons said ice maker on/off. I called Best Buy for repair and to verify the warranty I had. Best Buy said I had a 3 yr warranty and would transfer me to Maytag to set up repair appt. Transfer and get appt made. 3 days later Maytag calls to confirm and tells me cost, just to come to house. I said Best Buy said I had a 3 yr warranty. They said no, only 1 yr. But, they said that was a Best Buy warranty and Geek Squad would need to fix. For over a year I agrued with Maytag and Best Buy and got ZERO help!! I had no ice! I did my own research and fixed myself. The arm on dispenser constantly gets stuck, so ice doesn't drop...when it decides to even make ice. The problems with this ice maker go on and on and on!!! It was a lemon from the start! NO ONE with either company will help me, or even wanted to! As far as the refrigerator aspect, it's not great. Items freeze on certain shelves, in certain spots. I've rearranged the shelves, like they suggest, to help with the flow of the cold air. Doesn't help. It constantly runs and is loud! As a single mom with 4 children, I did not have the money for this expense...but, had to because my other one went out (25 yrs old). I financed this item for 12 mths and it put a strain on my families life! So disappointed and sad at what I am stuck with and no help to fix! I will NEVER buy another Maytag appliance or recommend for any appliance! And,honestly, I don't know if I will ever buy another appliance from Best Buy. They were NO help to me, either! It is all VERY sad!

My husband and I purchased this refrigerator around May 2018 (exactly 3yrs now). I was absolutely in love with the sleek design, french door, freezer at the bottom, and fingerprint-resistant. But what is the purpose of a pretty fridge that won't stop humming? This refrigerator is just unbearably loud! We have had the condenser changed to see if things will improve. The installer did say that would not change things as this is how this particular brand operates. He was right. When you open the fridge, the noise subsides but when you close the doors, the constant humming noise resumes. Loud enough to hear in a living room when you are trying to have a good family time. Unfortunately, I simply can't stand this noise anymore considering that I work 100% from home. My house is fairly big (5 bedrooms), not cramped at all but still, the fridge noise makes my ears ring badly. I wish I had focused on people's reviews that mentioned Noise. Other reviewers described it accurately. I really wanted to love this fridge and use it for a very long time. Unfortunately, I'm back on BestBuy website shopping for a new fridge after only 3yrs in. Quite disappointing purchase, I must say! I will most definitely stay away from MayTag this time around.

I love this refrigerator. It matches my other new appliances. Large enough for all my family foods.

Makes a constant high pitched noise when cooling and it runs almost constantly. I would estimate that it runs about 80% of the day which wouldn't be that bad if it didn't make the high pitched screeching sound. Other than that its a beautiful fridge, but unfortunately because of the noise, we are returning it.
