Purchased floor model on clearance with a tiny dent for half price. It truly was a Best Buy. Installed in 4/2019 and has performed flawless. Luv the refrigerator over freezer. Happy with the smaller ice maker to allow for more food storage. Both water and ice dispenser work well. Fruit and veggie drawers are of well per portion so to fit plenty. Gigantic slide out drawer for even more food storage. Bottom pull out freezer with top slide rack gives plenty freezer storage. Maytag hit a home run, and I was blessed to be on base and score.

No issues no headaches no problems. A reliable fridge that keeps my food cold and makes ice. Maytag can’t go wrong with this brand.

We’ve enjoyed using the frig, freezer, water and ice. Ice maker is very loud when fills with water. Is it supposed to be so noisy? Thank you.

the fridge is nice looking and large. it's VERY noisy. 4 months after owning it the water line started leaking inside the fridge and had to be replaced. now, a little over a year, the fridge rattles and knocks..

The ice maker takes up half of the room in the fridge. Freezer needs separators of some sort and the random compressor noises this thing makes tells me I will never buy another maytag product again.

I bought all Maytag products including this fridge just over two years ago. So far I have major problems with the fridge (leaking water, ice maker, door seals, list goes on), problems with the microwave (door sagging), oven (inconsistent temps), and dishwasher (adjustable rack failure, stuck in drain cycle). Whirlpool ruined this brand.

Going to call Best Buy tomorrow. Had my fridge for less than a week. The constant noise gives me a headache. Would like to keep the fridge but if the noise can’t be stopped I am retuning for another brand.

Produces a lot of moisture. Door frames are wet with moisture. When you open the door the fridge becomes silent, closing door noise begins. Call customer service waited more that thirty minutes on hold, hug up without spiking to someone.

I bought this with my house and it didn’t come with an ice maker (as you know). They list ice maker as an option. I made an order over the phone on January 24 2022 for it. I wasn’t charged as it was on backorder, and “the factory had to make it first”. Customer support gave me a timeframe for order arrival between “February 24 - March 15”. I called on March 8 to see. Customer support said the status was the same, and that the timeframe was still valid in their system. I said it didn’t look like it was gonna make it, since it was too close to March 15. I called again today on March 24, to get an updated timeframe (to have a remote idea on what I should be expecting after 2 months of waiting time). All the above is okay still, I’m not blaming anyone up until now. Then I talked to the customer support again. They said they can’t give a date. I reconfirmed asking “so you’re saying that there’s no timeline, and at this point it’s not a question of ‘when’ but a question of ‘if ever’”. They nodded. Now this is a 1 star CS for this item. Listing something as an option then not providing it, and then not being able to give even a timeframe to simply say that it may never be an option, is outrageous. Would not recommend unless you’re sure you won’t need an icemaker ever, because it’s not an option.

I bought this fridge and it died the next day (bad power board). I exchanged it for the identical model which died after one month (bad compressor). Maytag refused to allow me to return the fridge and did not honour the warranty; they insisted that the fridge was "repairable" despite the fact that they did not have any new compressors and therefore could not repair it. Do not buy Maytag appliances (or Whirlpool, same company). They have quality control issues and do not honour warranties.
