Run away from Maytag!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The compressor in my Maytag refrigerator failed in LESS THAN A YEAR. The technician stated that the SIX-WEEK-WAIT on parts is due to all their compressors failing and thus the LOOOOONNNG delay on parts. After the technician replaced the compressor, the refrigerator makes noise like a coffee machine and does not make water or ice! So I'm waiting AT LEAST 2 MORE WEEKS to get scheduled for service AGAIN!! Will never buy Maytag again!

Nothing but problems with the ice maker , had to replace the door less than 1 year after purchase ! Everytine the filter is replaced it quits making ice ! When we do exactly what the Manuel says for the past 3 years !!

The lighting in the refrigerator and freezer is terrible, all but one shelf is in the dark. The water/ice dispenser is so loud, it sounds like something is broken. I intend on returning this product as soon as I can find a replacement.
