I would have to restart to get things working again. I uninstalled it and no problems-so it is this program. I did try the trouble shooting tips- but it didn't change anything.

I used to buy norton until it was bought by life lock and they added that even if you have purchased a code, you still need a credit card on file! I assume its so they can charge 99$ for the next year of antivirus with auto renew if you forget to take CC off account!

I use to swear by MacAfee this must be the water down version. It is missing a key element That my other antivirus has which is the encrypted banking feature. Scans take forever and it misses several malwares that Malwarebytes found. Only good thing was the vpn. They missed the boat on this one. I uninstalled it and went back to my old antivirus program. I will find a separate vpn. Plus MacAfee is always trying to upgrade you or sell you one of their other products. This Constant popups is annoying to say the least. Even on sale I don't think it is worth it wish I could turn it off and just run the vpn. I would not recomend
