Unable to download the file. It does not show me the exe or zip file to select. My current subscription updated, but did not update from 5 to 10 devices.

I just cannot recommend this software. It gives you average protection but it CONSTANTLY and I do mean constantly spams you with pop-ups either for advertisements to buy something else from McAfee or just to say this or that part of the program is keeping you protected. I personally don't need a constant reminder that the program is running and doing it's job and I'm not interested in buying more stuff from McAfee. And there is no way of turning off these spam alerts. In the past McAfee never did this. It just ran nice and quiet in the background and only gave popups if you were near the end of your subscription or it wanted you to authorize a program access to the internet or a program was trying to download something suspicious.
Additionally the Safe Connect VPN doesn't work at all on my cell phone and sometimes will not work on my computer.
I HATE THIS SOFTWARE. If I could get my money back I would dump it in a heart beat. I do not recommend McAfee to anyone. Go elsewhere. I will not be buying McAfee products again. I've had a terrible experience.

Our VPN should work on both your cell phone and your computer, assuming you are running Windows 10, 8.1, 8, or 7 with SP1 and all updates installed, and it also is compatible with Android 4.4 and later and iOS 9 and later. Note that certain applications will block VPN from operating - like Netflix. When there are Digital Rights Management issues, they will turn off VPN, but we have the ability to block it from being used when you are working with one of those apps. I had horrible on line assistance from McAfee. They didn't show me as a customer and i downloaded Mcafee on all my devices. I purchased a new laptop from Best Buy and tried to download the McAfee software and thats where I ran into problems. I have since then purchased Norton

I'm sorry you had this experience, but I'm a little confused about what your issue is. You say you downloaded McAfee on all your devices, but then say you tried to download it and that's where you ran into problems. I'm not sure what to say about the customer service, unless you perhaps contacted a fraudulent site. We should see you as a customer as soon as you fill out the account information - which is only an email and password. Just to give you the correct information in case this helps, our service department can be contacted either at service.mcafee.com or 866-622-3911. If you just search for McAfee service, the first few places that come up are fraudulent sites. To install on the first device, you take your product key you received in email to https://www.mcafee.com/activate to redeem the code and setup your McAfee account. The download and install should be pretty straight-forward if you follow the on-screen instructions. After you've setup your McAfee account, you no longer need the product key. You just click on "Protect More Devices" from within your account and you can either send an email or SMS text to your other device. You can also sign into your McAfee account from the device you want to protect and just click on Download. If you contacted a different site than above or if you gave them a different email than the one you used to sign up for McAfee (or if you never got to the point of setting up your account with McAfee), then our support team will have no record. We don't get your personal information from Best Buy, so without you giving it to us during the installation, we are not going to have you on file. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Slows the system, crashes all the time, VPN rarely works. I used them before and it worked great. Something changed and now it’s useless. I would try a different product before this one. The list of problems isn’t worth it.

Hello - we do not charge extra for VPN with this package - it is included. You do have to install separately, but there should be a button to click on in your account to begin the install. It is possible that you went to download without being signed into your McAfee account and it wouldn't recognize that you already have VPN enabled.
