Bought this for my grandson...he loves it!! Mom too!

This was great animated movie for the kids to enjoy!

I could see how this film could appeal to children but it drags. I normally enjoy animated films but this one is one to watch if you need a good nap while taking care of the children. Theres action in the movie but it becomes much after a small period of time.

Loved it! It kept me, my husband, and my son entertained.

It's a funny movie for kids and adults, but some of the undertones are questionable. Just be ready to explain them.

I just purchsased a 3D HDTV. I didn't buy it for it's 3D capability, but I fugured if the technology is there, why not? To try out the 3D feature, I purchased this movie which I had previously enjoyed for it's theme of good vs. evil and the characters (particularly Minion, voiced by David Cross.) I was really blown away by the 3D effects of this movie. Really didn't expect it to be this good. It's not 3D with stuff constantly flying in your face but the effect is stunning when seen on a good TV.

This is just a fun movie. The plot is predictable but still funny and entertaining and the voices are excellent. My only complaint is that all I wanted was this movie in Blu-Ray and it seems that the only way I could get that was to also get the bundled digital content which increased the price beyond what it should have been.

I watched this movie with my father, and my younger nephew, and all three of us were laughing throughout the entire thing. Dreamworks always does a great job with their animated movies, and this was no exception. They as a studio do a great job of mixing in humor that adults find funny, while still giving that childish animation humor to the younger audience. This is a great movie to own because no matter what your age is, you will find this movie very, very funny.

The movie itself is awesome. The 3D affects are also awesome. However, Dolby TrueHD 7.1 will only play when watching the movie in 2D mode. When watching in 3D mode it only reads in Dolby Digital 5.1. Bummer!
