The movie is good, obviously, but the disc itself has a few errors. It plays fine, but there seems to be a gray filter over it, so the blacks aren’t completely black. I don’t know if this is a disc error or a movie production error.

Memento is a mind-bending thrill ride with its unique backwards storytelling. It keeps you guessing and piecing things together, making you question memory and reality long after its over. Great price and fast shipping.

    A Film Definitely Worth Remembering

"Memento" is my absolute favorite movie of all time. Leonard, the main character, is an every day man bent on avenging his wife's death. He is a character that anyone can relate to, and even sympathize with. He is a gritty character that you really find yourself cheering for. While the acting is superb in this film, the artistic direction is incredible in it's own right. It's no secret that Christopher Nolan is a brilliant director, and Guy Pearce gives the performance of his career in this film. While the movie is brilliant, the special features are great as well. I love the feature that gives you the option of watching the film in reverse (or forward, actually). I actually purchased two copies of this movie because I thought that I would wear one out.

Great Edition of a Great Movie

This is the 2-disc special edition of this movie. It's about a guy who loses his short-term memory when he and his wife are attacked. He is out for revenge, but has trouble remembering things in order to hunt down the man who was responsible for his wife's death. The movie is told in reverse order with segments of real-time in between. It's a bit confusing, but done very well. The cool thing about this 2-disc edition is that you can watch the movie in it's original reverse order or you can watch it with the scenes pieced together again in forward chronological order. You can get a more rounded understanding of the whole story if you watch both versions of the film. The second version is hidden along with multiple other "easter eggs". If you are a fan of the film, this is the version you must own because the regular edition doesn't have the "un-reversed" version.

    This Movie Is No Good...

...when watched in pieces. The first time I saw any of this movie I saw a bit of the middle, but I had no idea what was going on so I stopped and waited for the next time. I saw it again but only saw the end and that made no sense. So I think I can safely say that this movie is not good if you watch it in parts, if that is how you watch movies, then I recommend you avoid this like a hamburger that you dropped into a toilet, but if, from time to time, you like to watch an entire movie, from beginning to end, then this could be the one for you.

This is a great movie, my wife and I love it! This movie is very original and thought provoking. You're actually watching the film in reverse, because the main character (Guy Pearce) has short term memory loss. Every morning when he gets up, he does remember the day before. This is a great movie and Guy Pearce is fantastic. I highly recommend it! Also, some other good films with Guy Pearce are Ravenous and Time Machine.

    Best Movie

This is a great movie from director Christopher Nolan. At my first viewing, I left it thinking "What just happened here?" After the second viewing of the movie, I realized just how great of a thriller the film is as a work of art. The actors are great, including the reunion of two actors from "The Matrix". Since this film, I have been a fan of the works of Christopher Nolan, from "The Prestige" to "Batman Begins".

Memento is a great movie! Its about a mans obsession with finding out who murdered his wife and who inflicted injuries on him causing him permanent short term memory loss. This movie is filmed backwards so you actually see how it ends first and it progresses to what would have be the begining of the movie at the end. Confusing enough? Make sure youre paying attention or you will get lost.

    Good but confusing

Memento is about a man with a medical condition in which he cannot remember things that happen recently. He is trying to find out who murdered his wife with the help of some photos and a few shady people he meets. This movie is very different as it starts from the end and works it's way back to the beginning. The movie gets a little too confusing at times but worst of all it is never clearly explained who kills his wife. Watching this movie ten times may still not be enough to figure what happens.

Not so great, but nevertheless interesting.

I'll start off by saying that this film isn't perfect. In fact, I think it's a little overrated. The story revolves around a man with short-term memory who tries to find his wifes murderer. The movie creates some problems for itself and at times gets you thinking ahead which is a good thing, but then again the more you pay attention the more you realize its flaws. I think Nolan was trying to create a smart film, but instead overestimated himself and pushed it too far.
