Tried Other Brand Like Sony and Staples... Stuck With Memorex.... Works Good for My iMacs

These are the best DVDs for burning home videos. Can hold up to 2 hours of video.

I have used these discs for about 4 months now and I have not had a single problem. They are recognized by every component I have placed them in or that anyone I have given them to has used to play them. The 50 pack is a great value, and Memorex stands up to their reputation of a quality product.

These DVD-R's work the best compared to other brands. Great for home movies and photos. Not recommended for dual layered movies, as the video and sound when played back will be completely altered.

I usually have at least one defective disc in a large amount like this, these were all good.

50 dvds for small price goes a long way when transferring many many videos to dvd! Less space with dvds and more room in house!!! Videos take up like twice to 3 times the size of a dvd!

special, special or not these seem durable and are sometimes put on sale as I bought these at open item for $9.99 usual $19.99. Just saw them for twelve whilst writing this review.

I usually get 3-5 100pks a week and BB price matches the $19.99 sale. I have used Memorex DVD+/-Rs for over 5yrs now . I usually average between 350-450dvds per week. Yes per week. I have had maybe 1-2 coasters out of 2000dvds and that was the original DVD was bad not the blank. Cleaned orginal DVD and burned like a champ. I burn complete 4.65gb DVDs in 6mins or less with these with no problems burning at the highest speed 16x. But I usually go through 3-4 dvd burners a yr too. Dvd burners are good for about 3k-5k burns either cds or dvds then they just stop working to well. I try to stick with Sony dvd-DL burner seems to work great for me.

I buy these dvd's all the time...great product...blank dvd's so they do what they are suppose to do record LOL

Can't complain where does nothing to complain about. It works well and I haven't gotten any failed discs yet.

Great quality DVDs. Memorex is a trusted company that I've used for many, many years. I really like the DVD-Rs.

I have used hundreds and yet too run into a bad disk. nice smooth edges. Cool design on top pf disk.

I have not experienced any problems with the Memorex DVDs that I have used. I feel they are fine for everyday usage, but I probably would not use them for archival purposes of pictures or home videos.

Reliable product, would like to see larger quantities for same price.

the Memorex 50-Pack 16x DVD-R Disc Spindle is a good deal becuse it was local and there is no shiping cost included! how ever the playback quiltys are great for modern movies! black and white old classics are good for this type but color shows up flaws whikle playing bck movie!

this dvd-r brand has worked in anything I have tried them in.

I own a Plextor PX-716A burner and these discs worked FLAWLESS until they changed their media type. The old media was CMC and it was great. Then one day I bought another spindle and not a single one worked. I tried cleaning my burner, upgrading the firmware, etc and had the same problem. I had a few "other" brands and they burned just fine. I checked the media brand and it was now RitekF1. I ended up doing a lot of research and switched over to another brand and it works perfect with that media. I guess this media will work for some people, but no longer for me.

They don't make them like they used anymore. Best Buy is the place to buy these.

Always happy to get DVD media at a super sale price. However, Best Buy has almost completely discontinued stocking Duel Layer (DL) DVD media :-( and what little they do have is way over-priced!
