Gets the job done, but it could be better.

The Good: This little travel speaker system for the Ipod is pretty handy. I like the small size of the unit; it is a little bigger than a paperback novel. I really like how the speakers can fold up and down, making the device ideal for travel. This product is great if you just want the ability to dock your ipod with a portable speaker system. My favorite feature is that it will charge your ipod while your ipod is inactive. The Bad: There is one problem with this device, which is the volume setting. When changing the volume from 3 bars to 4 bars (or vice versa), there is a significant increase/decrease in the volume level. But all the other sound levels are similar and normal. Unfortunately for me, "4" is too loud for the office, and "3" is not loud enough, unless all of my coworkers are silent. The Annoying: One of the other features of this device is an LCD display which shows the time and sound level. But the angle of this screen is so bad that you have to lean over the device to read it. Also, the unit will not remember the time when you pull the plug, unless the 4 AAA batteries are installed. Also the skip and play/pause buttons are difficult to push. You really have to put some pressure on them to get them to work. I just use the ipod itself to skip through songs. Overall: This device gets the job done, but there are better portable systems to choose from. And, this is not worth the $70 that Best Buy is charging for it. I would pay $50 at the most.

Easy to use, the clock is a nice feature when traveling, but it could use an alarm clock!
