Travels well and good AM/FM reception; bass-booster makes for better sound. Great for outdoor deck play without bothering neighbors. Fun for fav CD play.

I got the radio for my wood working shop in my basement and it plays great. The best thing I like about it I can hook up my mp3 player to it and listen to my own music.

This is a great portable radio cd player for the money and size. Use it at the pool or in the patio just right for playing soft country music to relax to.

Decent little CD player for my 8 year old son. It's pretty durable and has a decent sound, good enough for his tastes.

I bought this boombox because my wife wanted to listen to her CD's and radio in the morning with her coffee. I purchased this one because the price was right for what we needed and fit perfectly on the kitchen counter. We never got a chance to use it since it didn't work. We tried the CD player, radio and the Aux input. All three settings didn't send sound to the speakers, not even static. I even tried to use the headphone jack and was dead as well. Luckily I live close to Best Buy and we just returned it. If I had to find something good about the boombox, the clock worked but that's about it. Stay clear from this radio as you'll be greatly disappointed.

From the beginning the cord had to continually adjusted to stay connected. Radio only picked up a few stations and not well. Would not play copied CD's. The sensor went after about eight months so I can't play CD's at all, which was what I bought it for.

Perfect little cd player for my shed. Small space works great. Bass is not good at all. Used primarily to hook up my I-pod to it while I work outside.

I bought this to listen to with headphones or earbuds at night on my patio; the volume is much much lower than the speakers and is just not loud enough and ruins the radio for me (I have tried multiple earphones/buds) and it doesn't adjust louder; the blue light is too bright and actually will cast a shadow on a wall-iit is actually blinding in the dark, and unlike a red light, ruins your night vision; the tuning wheel is analog, which would be alright if it wasn't geared in such a way that turning it a fraction of an inch covers an inch on the dial and several stations, making it VERY hard to tune stations(this is probably the worst thing about this radio and reminds me of cheap drugstore clock radios); also, it has very weak tuning sensitivity and will only pick up the strongest local FM stations; I wish i had tried it in the store before purchasing.

I had some gift card dollars left and we needed a reasonable radio for our camper. My wife came home with it yesterday, we plugged it in, the clock came on but nothing else worked. I followed the radio directions, hit tuner button, hit band, adjust volume, nothing happened. Taking it back today.

The sound is really pretty poor. This is not what you should get as your primary home sound system. But if you want a basic radio/cd player, this is for you. It wouldn't be worth the price without it's glowing display and AUX input for smartphones (and other devices) which makes it quite a bit more versatile than the average boombox. If I get 3 years out of this, I'll be quite happy with having paid what I did.

We bought this for my father in law. He can no longer read, so we got books on CD and needed something small and easy for him to use.

I will keep this ,but it is junk the display is not readable at any angle but straight on. The sound is awful and sounds like the old transistor radio Stay Away!!

Does a great job on receiving stations, good volume

Very basic radio. I wanted a radio with a line in input to use as speakers for my iPad. It has a digital tuner but you cannot assign a few favorite station to a memory. You have to tune every channel.

Followed the instructions but couldn't get this boom box to do more than display the clock. Called the local store and a very helpful customer service rep took one out of a box, plugged it in and got hers to work right away. She gave me simple point-by-point instructions but it is clearly a dud.
