Perhaps that is why I cannot use the power adapter at all (with or without the batteries out as per the instructions). It isn't too great where I live to just go to Best Buy, so I somehow got this junky thing in the mail. Maybe it's the luck-of-the-draw with quality control.

Well that time is back! And now you don't need to try and untangle that headphone cord thanks to the addition to bluetooth! To be honest, I have long gave up on CDs as I (and I believe most of the world) had switched over to digital media. My CDs were stored away as the only platform I has to play CDs was a computer, however newer laptops don't seem to be coming with optical drives anymore! After receiving this Memorex Portable CD player, I found a solution to a problem I didn't realize that I had. After dusting off the old CDs and connecting the CD player to a Bluetooth headset, I let the throwback commence. The anti-skip works well. I did not experience a single skip at any time with this CD player. Now I did not go out and run and jump around that much with his CD player. But it did well with any situation I had it in. This CD player is a very simple device. It plays CDs with the bonus of being able to connect via bluetooth. But it does these simple tasks well and it is user friendly. The battery life is decent. The only complaint I have is that the sound quality of CDs is a lot lower than I remember. Or maybe Digital Media is just that good. But either way, there is a notable difference in sound quality between CDs and streaming media from your phone. Other than that, this is a VERY affordable way to bring your CD collection back into play, and take that old CD wallet with you again where ever you go!
