This was one of my favorites growing up! May have been scrubbed a bit but the store remains.

1 star only because of these problems: one, the Blu-ray took twenty days to get to me from Kentucky. Second, this Blu-ray, as the last one, was shipped in a cheap, thin cardboard type envelope, which is easily damaged, as my two previous Blu-ray’s were. Third, the Blu-ray disk was loose when received and in transit was scratched and unusable. My last two Blu-ray’s were damaged completely, cases cracked, disks damaged as I could tell something heavy was dropped on again the thin cheap mailer. PLEASE BEST BUY, give shoppers an alternative shipping method, and start shipping these items in padded boxes, NOT envelopes. Otherwise, I’ll have to order from Amazon I guess. Can’t give a review on the movie, as it wasn’t useable....

Still haven’t been able to give this to my daughter. Argh

This is one of the best Christmas movies of all-time. Mickey and company star in one of the most faithful and one of the finest screen treatments charles Dickens' classic tale of redemption has ever recieved. At turns, Mickey's Christmas Carol is fun and light-hearted, at others dramatic and heart-rending. The animation is phnomenal, it still looks great by today's standards. The movie also got a superb HD remaster. The colors are bright and sharply defined and the backgrounds look just like a village from Dickens' time. Nearly every Disney character you can think of has an appearance in Mickey's Christmas Carol, from Scrooge Mac Duck as Ebenezer Scrooge and Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchitt, to Mr. TOad as Fezziwig. A selection of classic Disney shorts is included. Pluto's Christmas tree remains one of the best Christmas short films ever made. You also get the all-new Yodelburg short. This Blu-Ray does not have 'The Small One', hopefully that fantasic short film will be included in a future Christmas Blu-Ray. A timeless classic is reborn on Blu-Ray. A great Christmas present for young and old.

I first recorded Mickey's Christmas Carol off of broadcast TV onto Beta video tape. That broadcast also included three shorts (according to Wikipedia). Later I bought the Classic Cartoon Favorites Vol. 9 on DVD, which gave me MCC plus two of the three shorts. However, Donald's Snow Fight from the TV broadcast was not included. Unfortunately, it's not included in this BluRay release either, though the other shorts from the DVD are. I've done some Google hunting and can only find Donald's Snow Fight on some out-of-print (and very expensive) old Disney collections. I would have liked if everything from the original one hour TV broadcast had been included in this new BluRay release. It would have been great if the original long TV broadcast had been reproduced as it was, which included not only the three shorts but also a couple additional bumper scenes from other shorts as well. If this BD release had all that, I would have given it a full 5 stars.

I owned this movie as a child. It was my favorite holiday movie. It's great you can share the experience of your childhood with your kids now.

This is a very warm tale set to a Christmas classic and re-imagined through the magic of Disney Animation. A solid 6 of 10 stars.

This is a kid friendly version of a wonderful Christmas classic. They did an excellent job of keeping the themes while making them easy for children to understand and enjoy.

The greatest scene is the finale with Ebenezer Scrooge and friends!!

I love this movie, great adaptation of a Christmas classic.

Again Disney chooses to take their minor releases and does a terrible job migrating them to Blu-Ray. the Digital Noise reduction removes film grain and elements of the original animation. old animation can't and shouldn't look like a new computer Generated animation.
