Needed help at one point getting to the proper sign in page; the online chat was helpful. When I shared the office 365 with someone, we had to use my primary Microsoft account log in. I considered buying the software to own it, but when Microsoft comes out with a new version of Office eventually the one I would've bought would stop being supported.

At least we were able to get the 3-month extension and the version that we can use on 6 machines at home instead of the single-use version. Still, i wish there was a better way.

Is actually an older version than the stand alone version. To have it for up to 5 machines for under $100 is great, however, after 2-3 years you may far exceed the cost of the stand alone version. Only time will tell but for now it was a great buy for the short term.
